  1. cant get on as ive been banned.
  2. It is a pretty easy job when you have a hoist. If you have your trolly jack handy put it under the sump and this will also help lift the motor so its easier to get the Box back in
  3. Phoon rods were thicker that Xr6t untill mid 2006. Around this time the XR6T rods and phoon rods became the same
  4. From my experence with my old 67 falcon and my old AU xr6 the oil pressure would rise when given a boot full
  5. Posting on behalf of BionicXR6T Ok,..... so who's up for a Friday night quickie...... Friday night....22nd August.....meet 24hr Caltex servo (southbound) at Heathcote...at 8.30pm for a 9.00pm leave. This cruise will involve Heathcote start, Bulli, Appin, Mt Ousley, Woollongong Maccas, Stanwell Park, southern Nasho and Waterfall finish. The actual route list will be posted later, but you get the idea. Figured since its only a shorty with an actual drive time of around an hour and a half, I did it last night..... we'd start of at 9.00pm instead of 8.00 so the traffic will be lighter. At 135Kms start to finish.....it shouldn't be too hard on the wallet either..... As usual CB radios will be needed.....and a mate in the passenger seat to use it would be even better....but you should only need half a tank of fuel if that... As an aside, depending on the response of course, I was thinking about asking a couple of guys from the dark side if they'd like to join us?.....after all....we are all car nuts at the end of the day and I reckon it'd be cool to talk to some of these guys and see how the other side lives if you know what I mean....... Please note if you wish to attend this cruise you MUST read following and acknowledge that you have read the rules in your reply In order for every body to have a good time, a few rules have been implemented. Failure to abide by these rules will ensure you are not invited to future events held by FordXR6Turbo.com. The reasons for these rules are: * Safety - We don't want to put any of our members, and the general public in any danger. * Public Perception - We do not want the Ford XR6 Turbo community to face the same ridicule and stereotypes other car communities face. The rules are simple: * Obey all laws whilst on the cruise; this means no speeding, no overtaking over double lines etc... Any breaches will be reported to the local police. * There is a designated cruise leader who will lead the way and set the correct pace for all cruise members. * Use the Buddy system; always make sure you can see the car behind you. This will give people behind you an indication on where to turn and to make sure nobody gets lost or left behind. * CB Radios; if you don't have one, follow the maps and directions if they are given out. If you do have one, please limit chatter during the twisty parts of the cruise. This will allow the cruise leader to relay information about road conditions, upcoming obstacles, etc. efficiently. * By attending this cruise you agree not to hold FordXR6Turbo.com, its Administrators, Moderators, Cruise Organisers, or Owners responsible/liable for any damage and/or grief sustained (simply; if you stuff up it's your fault, not ours). If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask before the cruise. Ok...so who's keen....... 8. Please tell us more about the alcohol injection
  9. Ask your self a question. Why did you buy an XR6t? Handling? performance? comfort? Its the same reason why Cops have them. You would probably find that Cops buy the cars for the same RRP as a standard falcon XT Whats wrong with Cops who have a specific job to drive around alll day to want the same. Head up arse syndrome
  10. The G6ET was going in the opposite direction and if I did run it it would probably smoke me anyway
