  1. And to keep it going... I'm at about 43,000ish (04 BAii)
  2. After a bit of 'net research I'm thinking of going with some Marangoni Mythos in the same size that you are look for... Has anbody had some fitted in Melb, I'm having a bit of trouble finding out where I can get some?

    My G6et

that's oustanding! G6ET is a great model, remids me (in principal) of when they put XR engines in the EF/EL/AU Ghias. Could well be my next car. Any more pics?
  4. Yeah, I put the JBL one in the parcel shelf. It was a marked improvement over the factory one, that being said I now have a full install with a RF 12".
  5. Saw xlnt6 (well I assume it was) on Toorak Road near Tooronga road this morning at about 8AM.... Although I was walking to work, not driving.
  6. They dont look to bad at all - Black always looks awesome on yellow. They dont look like 20's with the stock tractor suspension though
  7. They are a direct swap over. I used the same mounts and same number of bolts when I went from an XR to a F6 one..... BA - BF differ though, which may be where you got the differences.
  8. Looking here http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11221647 FTG Auto Salvage are offering these for BA's They aren't flicks, however you would be able to replace you current fob and key with one unit, which looks smaller in total.
  9. Mine went off, when I changed my battery. I tried all the above (key to 'on' etc), however in the end I just jammed a rag in the siren, closed the hood and waited for it to finish (it isn't very long). I think by law there is a time limit for which the siren can sound, which is why they stop?
  10. that's the best stuff I have ever used on any of my cars with leather interior (and they have all been different ages/conditions)... However I reckon I might have used at least one 'better thing' on the seats
  11. Have you seen all the Mullins wheels they are offering as options on FG's too http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/ContentServ...e&c=DFYPage Choose XR6 and you will see what I'm talking about
  12. I just replaced the battery in my BAii.... Got about 3.75 years out of it, it was amazing how much better the car starts with the new one
  13. Intersting looking.... I think it used to have the plates 'IIDOOR'?
  14. It was awesome... I got it brand new in 2002 for what I thought was a heap of $$ (but it was less that my current FPV one!). I dont think you can get them new anymore, I've seen them come up s/h every now and then.
  15. Mine has - only a tiny bit. Based on all the data I have, I've gone up about 0.75 L/100KM. that's probably because its far more fun to drive
  16. Yeah, definitely worth the investment..... I love mine, couldn't stand that crappy standard XR one - especially after having an EL GT one in my EF. Just remember that there are Futura (etc) drivers around that will buy the XR one - recoup some of your costs.
  17. Yeah, I had that exact same problem, damn tabs on the bottom of the fuse box broke - PITA
  18. Sooooo, where are the results of point 12?
  19. I couldn't watch any more of that... I cant believe they made a TV show out of it. Love that guy Tony's hair though - awesome
  20. Looks like you used the Sven4? http://peripheralelectronics.com/products.aspx?ProductID=333 I'd be interested to see how it goes in the T. It should make for a decently priced option...... As has been said, this is the easiest way to do it, allowing you to use aftermarket amps for your speakers. Do a search and you will find that a few guys have used Rockford Fosgate 360's

    Limp Home Mode

All fluids are ok, engine temp (according to the gauge) was perfect, who knows about the temp of the trans. I dont know if it was full Limp Home mode, It felt like it was limited to certain gears because take off was pretty horrible. I'd probably get the codes red from a reputible place near by, anyone know where I should go around the waverley area... HPF are probably the closest. I normally over the other side of the city, which I dont really feel is an option in this case
  22. Hey guys, On the way home from work 6:00PM peak hour traffic, 19 degrees. Anyway after 10mins driving, I go into limp home mode - gear selector flashing 'D' and the speedo doesn't work. So I baby it home - another 10 mins - and turn the car off. Start it again to put it away in the garage and the selector shows normal - I no limp home mode - mind you its was for 10 metres driving. My question is this, what should I do. I'm assuming I should get it checked out for fault codes, but should I drive the car - is it safe or will it go into LHM again? What problems have you guys had that threw you into LHM? Thanks, Chris.
  23. Yeah I used a .1 in my install, was quite an easy process to install.... http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...mp;#entry626494 The .1 isn't that expensive, depends on what you want really - I'm happy with the route I took, it allows for a factory-ish look too
  24. I've used it before, the brand is PowerPlus can looks like these ones here The number I have on the can is PJ9184, with an EAN of 9300749291846
  25. Thanks mate - its been a labor of love, Hows you machine going? Booked in with Danny yet?
