  1. Happy Birthday squidlips!

  2. Count me in for FG Angels. Let me know bank details and I'll sort it. Cheers, Squid
  3. Have had the Ego FG for 12 months now and agree with the previous post re the finish and engine bay etc. It is the best colour Fraud have IMHO. It changes depending on the light with the green and purple fleck showing well in the sun and it looks black at night; schizo might have been a better name than ego! I have some small swirls in the clear coat but these will polish out easy. Overall I'm happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking at the current range of colours available. GFI.
  4. Dude, My best man organised some go-cart racing, followed by beers, a great meal then into spot X for the naked fillys. Farken sensational and everybody's happy. Except me in my undies and a stripper with a flange full of champagne but that's another story......
  5. thanks for the feedback djkice, I'm going to look into this further as the stealth approach is what I'm after. I think there may be a market for this kind of approach to data readouts in the FG?
  6. I was wondering since the FG has limited options for gauge installs for performance readings like boost, oil pressure, trans oil temp etc, whether anyone had considred a unit to recieve all this information and then send it to the existing ICC. You could then flick over to an aux input and display the same as 2 or 3 52mm gauges in digital format for when you want to know exactly what is going on. For cruising flick back to the standard readout for normal ICC display. This would eliminate the need for gaudy A pillar gauges etc and be totally stealth until really needed. Sorry if this has been already talked about but my searches came up nada. Any thoughts???
  7. This woman is brilliant - had to watch it three times.
  8. Just fitted a set of 245/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalins to the FG (13,000km saw the Dunslops to the wear bars); super quiet, better grip and much improved steering feel into and out of corners. It feels like a new car again. They go for about $400 a corner so they dont give them away but well worth it when compared to the price of std Dunslops.
  9. Kona, You know why.
  10. You guys definitely found the cleaner versions of the images! Time to change my avatar!!! Squidlips goes back to a classic line in an old surf movie called "Big Wednesday" when this young kid lends his surfboard to a seriously hungover main character called Matt Johnson. The kid thinks that's the last he'll see of the board until Matt starts carving up the waves. The little kid says "He aint no squidlips, he really is Matt Johnson". Stuck with me ever since. The real definition comes from the "Urban Dictionary": squid lips; A central Floridian word for someone who tries extremely hard to be "cool" in the motocross world, in no way is. Also extremely annoying and able to piss absolutely anyone off along with the gift to never stop talking. I'm definitely no Matt Johnson and my numerous broken bones from motorbike riding and ability to turn a short story long mean I fit the bill for the urban dictionary definition.
  11. Apologies 72 . Loaded comment too, I know! Dad was a fisherman and all this time I used to think he checked the phase of the moon for the tide! Females huh, only out of nappies for a few years of their life; the only creature that can bleed for five days and not die.
  12. Lurv your work Dags. One question though; the last post with the filly in the white kini - do they pad the top and bottoms too these days, WTF?
  13. squids in for the 21st Feb. see you there with my clothes on.
  14. One of your best yet Dags.
  15. Liquid LPG injection seems to have some reasonable power under street tune. Not sure how it will go with some of the higher tunes which require 98RON+ atm. LPG can be the future when oil prices go north again. Fuel type doesn't bother me really, as long as there is some realistic power and economy.
  16. I've got a htc touch diamond through telstra (work plan). I had the Palm 750 before that however it wasn't very reliable and the keypad needed fingers much smaller than mine to operate it easily; it did have an on screen keyboard to use with the stylus which is what I ended up using mostly to write emails, text and navigate through the apps. Overall the Palm 750 was a mini-computer first and a phone second. I've found the HTC is ultra stable across all similar applications (both running windows 6.1 the Palm would crash about once a week) and it has a few more standard apps than the Palm, it is half the size and the screen is plenty large enough for emails, photos etc etc. Just my 2c
  17. $70k for a car that will get pantsed in every department by most t's on this forum (and for at least $30k less brand new when you consider the $85k supposed $ tag). Ooooh my aching sides. I suppose theres on born every minute.
  18. squid's in; my original gig has been cancelled. See you there!
  19. Would love to but on a promise already, ok call me soft
  20. I'm a no show for the 29th as well. The silly season has begun already.
  21. Hey Marco, I would be keen to get in on an organised city cruise with maps, meeting points for the lost sheep etc. Sending out routes on the site can alert the boys in blue which may result in unwarranted attention, so a meet/start point, discuss the route at the start, maps etc. Keep it simple and safe and it'll be sweet. Most of the city roads you mentioned above are well policed anyways so maybe just roll the dice and keep it cool. Might be good to include a feed/drink stop along the way???? Pretty weird with that guy found dead in a car at Mile End. Read in the paper today that when they found him around 6.30 am the engine was still warm? Stabbings, shootings, murders are everyday events now, WTF. Maybe we could start the cruise at a church car park, although that may be more dodgy than Bunnings, LOL!?! Cheers,
  22. Heery, Sorry mate it all falls into place; now I remember your name!!! Told you the whole story above and you were actually with me the whole time, my bad!!! I thought Heery was the guy in the yellow BF that we lost along the way. Enjoyed the cruise heaps. How'd your mates enjoy it - you had a few passengers hey! Will cruise again with you guys for sure although I cant recall any 'drags' as you know we cant promote inappropriate driving All within the limits of the law, private roads etc. Cheers mate.
  23. G'day Heery, That was me in the stocky FG. I went after the main group with you guys in tow after the red light split but when we got out of the curvyy bits and nearer to Mt Pleasant I relaised we weren't going to see them again. Sorry that common'ore caused you some grief! Me and Adrian in the blue F6 ute and another bunch of fellas in a nice white BA (sweet quad exhaust sytem) were still together (sorry guys cant recall your names at the minute!!). We hadn't realised til then that you weren't behind so we turned around and headed back to Adelaide through Tanunda and Gawler. We saw some places that we hadn't seen before too! Saturday night in a country town is real hit and miss. We stopped at a servo outside of the city fringe and Adrian headed to a party and the last two of us cruised to the city and then to the bay. Took it real easy but the boys in blue decided to pull over the BA at a random car check they had set up. The BA boys were ok as I did a block and when I got back they had gone, so I headed home to watch my EPL soccer team get flogged, oh well! Great to meet up with you guys and I enjoyed the cruise. Will do it again some time but comm's to other cars would be good to ensure we can keep together. Cheers mate.
  24. Cheers XRsiik, Leave pass sorted with OSWMBO. See you there. FG is pretty stock as per my sig, but I'm luvin it now its kinda run in and loosening up (nearly 4,000k's). 25. Hey guys, Good chance for newbie number 2 on the cruise if I can get a leave pass. I only live around the corner from Bunnings Mile End and keen to check out the mods and have a cruise with some other 6T's. So that's a definite maybe - will confirm later in the week.
