Isnt there an extension which teminates into rcas, which plugs intot he aux unit?? How do ya go about hooking in a playstation or such ?? As the aux is only for sound, how do they tap into the screen?

Once you hook up the Auxilary thing, how do you then hook up anything to that?? do you then neeed like another connection or what??

Paint it the same colour as ya car! that's what im thinkin *shrugs The GT's have the clock with the correct colour, therefore they must make them the correct colour!! Someone should find out if they can change it to the right shade of trim??

IF you want the ultimate in batt, buy optima, its what all the sound off guys use. It may be 400 odd bucks, but its well worth it!! And the yellow top Optimas look the good too!!

What type of oil should I use in my xr6 turbo?? which would be the best for ir?? I have nearly done 1000 km so I wanna change it real soon, they always say the first oil change is the most important!! Probly do it again at 5000.

Do we need to let the turbo cool or not when turning car off?? Why or why not??

How do you know when its on and off??? Only got my T yesterday, and evrytime I jump in the traction control light isnt on?? doesnt that mean tration control is on or off, every time I power on the light flashes. I was under the impression that when the light is off, TC is off and when light is on TC in on, but every time I take off or give it a bit, the TC light pops on and kicks in, I havent been able to turn TC off yet!!! Its all ocked up now so ill have to try tommorrow, but what I gather form this post, is that whe nt he lights on, TC is off, yeh???

Well , I finally got the beast today!!!!! 6 day wait!!!! NOT BAD!!! 200 km on the clock now, had 17 when I got it. Its a tuny bit sloppy in first, but when it hits 2nd , BOY!!! it gets up and moves!! They filled the tank with normal 91 ron too!! have to get some 98 or 95 into it soon, see if it makes any diff!! Pretty happy so far though!! Apart from the front left hand window which is getting replaced because its scatched to buggery from factory, and the car had to wrong cold air intake on it!!, its all ok!! So far lovin it and up 1-0 on the holden, blew off a special edition vs?SS Anyway, gotta baby it round a bit more now , run her in!!

How much is just the DVD system itself ?? I have read in a few places that its only $1500, can anyone confirm this??

Coming from a car audio background myself I can give you some sought of answer. An old style head unit (unlike the ones in the BA) has an illumination wire that runs from the head unit, so basically everytime you turn your lights on, the headunit dulls. As in the case of the BA system im not sure exactly how it works, but I guess that there would still be an illumination wire somwhere. When not hooked up, the units should stay contantly bright. Alot of good headunits also have, illumination on off controls?? no idea if the BA units have this as I havnt got mine yet

Thanks guys, Its a sedan model, and yes im 21!! I'm kinda scared of it actually, fasted thing ive driven is an ED xr8 sprint that my brother owns! And im used of driven my Old ed 6 cyl So I will definetly be taking it careful, espc the first few thousand k's!!! The APS upgrades will definetly have to wait, as im now flat broke for a while!!! LOL Probly get them in about 3 months or so I would think!

After a few months of haggling with my dad to garuntee a loan, I finally got to order my turbo today!! I was lucky enough that a dealer had one sititng on the showroom in Berri!! So I only have to wait a very short week!!, Hopefully here friday if the trucks run through on the right days!! Its the citric acid,auto, premium sound, scuff plates and xr mats!! CANT WAIT!!! Coulda driven a red one off the floor today, but id rather a colour I really like!! Now to save for the phase II kit THanks DAD!! HAHA
