  1. It needs to come out of the river or perhaps the cows, kangaroos and drop bears that drink the water further downstream might get a little bit sick of a Shell Helix/Optimax based diet!
  2. I'm sorry, but your tastebuds are clearly in error. Vegemite is what they prefer, they're just not running at their best at the moment it would seem. Eyby, good choice of name. I was going to suggest the passe' "Lion Tamer", until I looked it up on Urbandictionary.com, then I changed my mind. Rapid T-R6X is an excellent choice of name. P.S. There's a reason I didn't link directly to the definition. Read at your peril.

    Owned

The first post was boring, so that was the end of it. The thread on the justcommodores forum about a VN hammering an XR6 Turbo was mildly amusing for a short time though. Mind you, the thread was about VL Turbo Vs Xr6 Turbo.
  4. I went to Kittens last night, just it was the wrong one! I didn't know about this post or maybe the lads could have been convinced to go a bit further north.
  5. BA_Turbs

    Yes!

actually NO. he was 23 and it was HIS OWN CAR. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So your internet source is better than mine eh? I actually read mine on an intranet, and I am fairly sure its correct.
  6. BA_Turbs

    Yes!

Shall I be the first...? It was a 19 y/o at one of the Victorian Expensive Daewoo dealers. The real issue would be what sort of Expensive Daewoo Dealer would allow a 19y/o to test drive a car like that? The answer is one that deserves everything he gets.
  7. Thanks for the reply! Just rang them and the dude quoted $2,300, but would deal further in person, but not over the phone. Ca be completed in one day of vehicle is dropped pff at 8.30am and collected after 5pm. Its actually for my Grandad's Fairmont Ghia, he calls it a "sunshine roof". However, at 84, he's entitled to call it whatever the hell he wants.
  8. Here's your proof phantomchic. No doubt about it, he's not right.
  9. Well, where aould I go? I've heard that the place that installs sunroofs for Ford/FPV does cars for the public as well? This being the case you could basically get a factory sunroof done aftermarket. The cost isn't the issue, getting right is. Any help would be swell. Thanks, BA_Turbs PS - I need places in Melbourne/Victoria!
  10. ASK DAVID This is a site that allows to all seek advice and consult the Hoff about all the important, and the not-so-important issues we face. I asked the Hoff a couple of questions: Q. Why aren't I mobed by large groups of busty women when I walk down the street? A. "Hairiness is next to Manliness" Q. Will I ever reach the top of my chosen career? A. "Wear tight trousers" Now with advice like, you can't go wrong!

    Google Earth

It told me that it was closed, so I couldn't download it.
  12. All very funny. My hat is off to all that contributed to sharing these solid gold moments with the rest of the world.
  13. The Usual Suspects is a very good film. Other than that it would be any of the "Ernest goes to......." movies.
  14. SCRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE!!! At least that's what I'd hear everywhere I went. Car looks good though.

    Ringtones

Outstanding link. Video of the week. The *beep* frog keeps coming up as a pop-up every 5 minutes on my computer and Ad-Aware can't find what's causing it. Just for that, I put the *beep* thing through the blender twice...
  16. There's too many good songs to limit it to one.

    Burnout

Wouldnt affect his clutch at all dood. Its not hard to get a manual spinning the tyres... As was posted in another thread.. See Here for a manual burnout.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course I don't approve of burnouts on public roads, that would be wrong. However, if I had to tried the odd massive burnout, I might have found in the past that there was massive smell of clutch everywhere and a bit of slipage before it started to spin 'em up. Just my hypothetical experience...

    Burnout

That's a fair set of strappers! I take it your car is an auto, or that you have no respect for your clutch?
  19. Love having a fast car, but miss 4WDing up in the Vic High Country, so my next mode of conveyence is likely to be a diesel fourbie, then, when I can afford, an old Porsche 911 as "a hobby" just to keep my hand in at fast cars. NB- This is strictly fictional. The chance of me having enough money to spend on a hobby car anytime before I retire and collect my super are very, very slim.
  20. Have a look at the way the roof drops pff to nothing at the rear. The Falcon is bad enough now (my head is in the roof when sitting in the back seat) and the roof doesn't drop away that much. It not all about legroom!

    Jb's New Ride

Pimpin' Ride JB, but have to agree with Dallas re: ownership, Ford don't own BMW. One of the last stand-alones, like Toyota.
  22. My sentiments exactly. When you fall off, you get straight back on the horse(power)! Sent you a PM too.
  23. Not sure who has seen the movie Old School with Will Farrell, but in that movie he has a massive big red Trans Am where he "took the restriciter plate off". He refers to it as the "Red Dragon". My mates started calling my red T the Red Dragon and asking if the said plate had been removed. Just to thwart any future enquiries, the plate has not been removed on my Red Dragon.
  24. I just watched this, and although I didn't really know what was going on, it was VERY funny! Great video! PS - The downloaded file is only 15 meg for me
