Put me down for 986.2 as well

My diff has a slight whine at exactly 95ks and the occasional shunt in stop start traffic. Dealer has ordered a new diff, but I am in 2 minds as to whether to get the thing changed as the repacement are often more problematic than the originals

Noodle :hiwelcome: Mate, most kits will void your waranty on engine and driveline components, so if in doubt , dont mod your car. In terms of insurance , some will cover you , but there are a lot that wont. Try AAMI , I found them really good to deal with , and mods are no problem as long as you include them on the policy. You must let your insurer know of any mods, as if they are discovered subsequent to a claim and they are not on the policy you wont be covered. Anyway do a search on these topics as there is plenty of info avaliable. BTW whatcha drivin ? Welcome to the site and enjoy the community WhiteTee

Geez guys your scarin me , currently got a new diff on order. Mine has a whine at exactly 95ks only, otherwise ok. Might be better off leaving the blighter as is. Dealer gave me some story about the replacement diffs being made to order and are stronger , hence the 2 week quoted wait. Probably usual BS that we get fed, anyone else heard this ?

Hi All What can I say that has not been already said , fan bloodytasic. Again well done Trumpy , looks like the King of cruises has a job for life. Sorry I didnt get to say good bye to some of you in Canberra , but work commitments required me to keep going back to Sydney to get some urgent stuff done.
