Moto I certainly appreciate your views and the effort that you have put into your posts on this subject. On one thing I do agree in spades. Education and training of all drivers is certainly the key. I would most respectfully suggest that unless you are a most professional driver ( ie supercar or better ) and you are probably not . You would have to be extremely myopic in your self indulgent views. It is abundantly clear that the law enforcement agencies have NO option than to uphold the laws of those that legislate them.That is to cater to the lowest common denominator, being in most cases a semi blind/ unconsciouse geriatric or a testosterone fired ricer. You may well be one of the people, as are a lot on this site that CAN handle a car better than your average Joe, that doesn,nt mean that the rest should be able to put the rest of us at risk due to their incompetence. Whilst there are many clear examples of revenue raising, the bottom line is that legislators are compelled whether it be right or not to be seen to be doing something about the road toll. I am sure that the Constabularly( spelling ) would agree that this to a point is correct , as without funding from STATE BUDGETS their ability to execute their said duties could be severely diminished as a result of funding cuts. Call it good salesmanship or otherwise , I have due to my own civil disobedience recieved several fines over the years and in the majority of cases the officer concerned has downgraded the charge as most were by mobiles following an overtaking manouvre with the car coming back to speed under normal engine braking Fact is we all have to drive by the rules as an adjunct to the lack of the skills of others . Certainly being passionate about your car ( and make ) can sometimes end up in people making denegrating remarks about others. I certainly would be dissapointed if someone took the trouble to personally flame me via PM on the basis of your posts as they appear to be fairly innocuos and delivered in the right spirit. My experience on reading posts on other forums seems to be that out of the Ford stable the T has some genuine street creds. This respect should be extended to all makers.
