  1. 6 Man you may be onto something , for some months prior to my LH CV joint giving up the ghost , I had vehicle vibration at speeds over 100ks and the occasional heavy clunk from a standing start under light throttle. Ford were able to partly fix it with a wheel balance . Anyway , once the CVs and axle assemblies were replaced , no more vibration, and have only experienced a very minor shunt once or twice since ( 4000ks ) Still have my diff whine at 95ks , but given the risk of a clunker as a replacement I will put up with it.
  2. Turbs, those bloody avatars of yours are going to shortly have me in therapy. This latest disturbing effort is the best yet. I think me eyes are playing up again
  3. Geea Mate excellent work , sounding more of a weapon than ever. Love the option of alternating maps , lookin forward to hearing about your new improved times.
  4. Glenn , Why ?? I couldn't think of many things more depressing than a gallery of bingled Ts , dont know whether the owners of such vehicles would enjoy the reminder Looks like ole WhiteTee is wrong again D"oh............humblest apologies to all you binglers..........enjoy the pics if you can

  6. Nothin wrong with Winter White Laddy
  7. Sorry you are wrong, in my experience with AAMI if it doesn't come on the car as STANDARD then it is classed as a modification (things like brakes, suspension etc.). I had exactly the same experience with a Fairmont that had Factory XR8 suspension. AAMI classed the suspension as a modification because Fairmonts didn't have it is standard. I have had this arguement a number of times with AAMI and raised it up past supervisor level, but it didn't change anything. that's why they have Just Car Insurance. Oh and yes I am well aware of the relationship between Just Car Insurance and AAMI. Mick I am currently looking at my AAMI policy and it specifically states ,two categories 1/ Modifications ie Chips and Zorst 2/ Non Standard Accessories ie premium sound , alloys , etc Hope this helps
  8. Cheers Lads

  12. Peter What can I say ............fark !!! are there any standard Ford Bits left at all ?? Blimey cant even imagine what that would do to most Ford componenents.
  13. Chaps , dont fret the mighty T cleaned up in 2003 . 3rd PCOTY against all comers. and best Aussie muscle car "The XR6 Turbo was a runaway winner"and "is also a walk up start for value for money" BFYB . Test vehicle 0-100 5.91 sec , 0-400m 14.14sec not bad for stock. Wonder how a modded T with upgraded brakes and suspension would fair. Pretty bloody good I reckon So there ya go

    BRAKE SHUDDER ISSUE

HIt n miss Scotty CCC My series AU 11 XR nearly shook me bloody arms off
  15. Tockers, if you look at peak torque V peak power it is obvious , the T is in the band from approx 3000rpm , with the 8 not hitting its straps until later in the rev range, ie the T is quicker off the line and keeps going , the eight is playing catch up. Game over. Now where is that Vortech?
  16. Zap ............good onya mate , nice ride. Welcome to the club of T ownership. Better update your sig on Friday to "got" . Hope she gives you plenty of hours of motoring pleasure
  17. Aren't we there already? What sh*ts me, as mentioned before, I too have worked extremely hard to set myself up in life and it wasn't to long ago that I was earning well under minimum wage (I.e. 1st year apprentice) and living 600km from my parents. You see these so called minimum wage earners having a b**ch and moan on tv about not being able to afford to live, yeh it may be tough, but get of your buttocks and do something about it. I despise our income tax system, the harder you work and the more you earn the more you are funding some no-hoping, drug-smoking, wife-bashing, car-stealing piece of sh*t to do what they enjoy. I realise there are quite a few genuine people on welfare that can't get jobs for legit reasons, but these seem few and far between. Anyway, speaking of work - best get back to it! Trent. Said it before , say it again "Punish Success and reward mediocrity"

    New BA SR?

If they can afford to giveaway $6000(RRP) worth of free goodies to new customers, why cant they spend some coin on diff whines, driveline shunt , and brake shudder for existing customers ? Cos they have already got our hard earned , so we can all get well and truly
