Well done chaps Jeff excellent work on the 12.6 , gives me something to think about also good to see ya mods translating into well deserved times Joe you must be stoked with the 13.1 , good effort. Due to a full diary my next outing is planned for 21 July , so hopefully I will see you guys plus some others there too. Now to rustle up some coin for an IC.
  2. Sh#T Ivan that's nasty, so pleased that you are not too badly hurt. Hope the insurance coughs up so0n so you can get a new beast. WT
  3. Geez Ken ya gettin slow , Mack has been passed out at the front door for 3.5 hours, hope he is OK
  4.
  5. Whilst speed has not been listed as a contributing factor , it will not take long for some political boffin to start talking about limiting car power. Just wait, 300kw std limits probably wont be far away
  6. Guys , please don't flame me but whilst I agree that it is primarily the driver not the vehicle at fault I have made some observations of different driver behaviours , some good some abhorrent , particularly in heavy traffic The majority of these potential and actual disasters I have witnessed were perpetrated by female Asian drivers, when combined with a large 4WD it is truly scary stuff. This is certainly not a racist comment , just my observations. I trust that there are plenty of drivers who are more than competent, but it just highlights just how easily the authorities issue licences to people who clearly cannot drive a std car let alone a small truck. Mods please take this in the spirit for which it is intended as I just wish to highlight the the lack of education, training, and demonstration of practical ability that exists before letting some individuals loose on the road. This is also applicable to all creeds , colours and ages.
  7. Ditto, particularly when driving interstate.Doesnt require a blue shirt either
  8. profrat, I don't know what you have jumped out of before your T , but the road feel is far superior to the AU series.I find the stock road feel ,steering and handling pretty OK for a stocker. More power assistance will only make it feel more vague IMHO, Less will quickly develop your arm muscles without the responsiveness.
  9. I believe that first and foremost that a comprehensive educational program in conjunction with a robust theoretical test that is broader than just coverage of road rules prior to getting Ls would certainly lift awareness of things that can and do happen in a myriad of driving conditions. This could be reinforced with a practical controlled environment driving course, which again would demonstrate just how easily things can go pear shaped. It would then be time to take to the roads with a suitable instructor to experience real life situations. Again there needs to be more rigour in the way licences are granted , after all it is a privelage not a right to hold a drivers licence. Once on Ps there should certainly be constraints on passenger numbers and vehicle power. Roadworthiness and legality on some of the death traps these kids are driving also need looking at I know this is slightly off topic but probably relevant My 2c
  10. Nice one Dean , You do have a very nice 2 door T
  11. Ditto Mate, In my AU xr6 VCT series 2 , I was covering 16500 ks PA , In 12 months in the T 25000ks , no change in circumstances only the car. Yeaaah hate drivin it  Mind you they can sh*t ya when they get finnicky :cartman:

  14. Now to some of you, this won't come as much of a suprise. please help me....... I am a sandle wearer and I also drive a WhiteT like JB It would appear that there is some sort of rogue gene at play, really, I am not a freak. Seriously in warmer climates than Vic they are an appropriate piece of foot attire for shuffling around the coastal encalves showing off my perfectly hairless and pristine feet . Never ever to be worn with socks
  15. Good one Goldie , ya must be stoked
  16. Run in for 20000 ks ,loosened right up , then the phase 2 and loving it. goes like stink
