  2. That is interesting , mate of mines father in law actually passed away several times whilst in medical attention , once for nearly 3 minutes. When asked about it he replied simply the lights went out. Makes you wonder
  3. Twas in South Africa last year and all the talk was primarily around Rugger, but.......the general concensus of the poulation is that it is the Aussies not Kiwis that ride on the sheeps back . Clearly some ill advised propoganda from the other still unclaimed state of OZ
  4. wot he said ........ eeeewwww

  15. WTF? J, wasn't that a pic I saw of YOU so hammered that you couldn't open your eyes? Might need an extra cage, me thinks. Ken If you look closely , you will notice that the eyes are actually partially opened. Any how whats wrong with puttin a bit of passion into yer Karaoke I think we have enough now to get a bulk discount on them cages. Maybe Geea can put us onto some one
  16. generally speaking I would prefer a manual , but chose the slusher due to the mags giving the manual a pasting turns out the auto does'nt like too many weeties. That said the auto is a bloody good compromise, particularly when you have to deal with Sydney traffic. In manual mode it is a treat to drive on good roads even if it is short of a gear. and them flat changes
  17. So Pedro , put us out of our misery. Is bubs due Friday ? or coming home Friday? If you have bubs already whaddya have ? Either way mate congratulations there is nothing like it. Soon will be time to ring my two littlies , man I miss 'em.Tis hard living in another state
  18. hi craig micks car pulled a 270 rwkws at the aps dyno day on saturday and my car is only 258rwkws so I think it may be in the tune with my 60ft time I should be killing it the only other xr6t on this forumn with a 1.91 60ft time that I know of was 100% and his car was a stage3 with slicks.....my car seems to be falling away right through the range as my 660ft mph is way behind micks car as well. Wow, that's quite amazing. Maybe someone could offer suggestions on what could cause these differences. Is it possible that the cars are tuned differently. Maybe one has a slightly different tune to protect the driveline early or is it possibly due to different factory specs before the cars were modded. Geea. Craig I am no expert far from it , but peak power does not necessarily relate to quick 60ft times or terminal speed , more to the way the cars are tuned. ie bringing increased boost in down low will produce a better 60ft time rather than later in the rev range which may produce a better terminal speed. For example max boost for me comes in fairly low ~ 3500 rpm at a fairly miserely 10.5 psi giving me a 2.01 60ft time this then tapers slightly to give a fairly sedate 111mph at the end of the strip. This is confirmed by others running similar 60ft times but greater terminal speed and better times with less rwkw Good questions , I look forward to learning some more from subsequent posts
  19. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA :lol\ Gween, Have you not blown this font out of all proportion I do not diagree however with ramping up the internal strenght of the motor. Good insurance me thinks
  20. well looks like adding 2 cylinders to Geesemans shopping list. Convert eh
  21. Miss Aly Sounds overall like a good plan. A couple of bits of feedback if I may. 1/ After having to having to spend the night in Albury due to the T being carted away on the back of a truck . I have sampled the cuisine at the , I think commercial club , which is the big club in town. Whilst good value in terms of belly fill quality was of an indeterminate quality ,not toooo bad mind ya. I did not try their steaks or a la carte menus however 2/ After dinner go to bed to sleep WTF . you funny girl. I think the standard NSW cruise protocal should apply from here ( we will ensure that Ken is suitably caged) for some interstate fellowship Sounds good Will confirm once a date is set
  22. Gotta give it to you die hard 8 fans, each to their own. Given performance and handling even when stock , I cannot look past the T . Try as I may to put myself in your shoes I could not justify buying a car for for the note over other aspects which to me are more important Sorry but me could not do it.Mind you it would be a pretty boring place if we were all the same
  23. Not good news on a shmick new bus. Mine suffered from rough idle and stalling after about 25000ks . Clean of the throttle body solved the issue but you quote only 500ks on the clock Some of the gurus on here who are more mechanically inlined than I should be able to point you in the right direction. Hi Ho Hi Ho back to the dealer you go. New car , Ford fix it. NOW
  24. the T s do go faster so whats the problem there
  25. Mate Phase 4 , a major Auto upgrade when available I think the Auto the better option for any strip work, brakes ( cant remember your set up ) , then any change on cosmetics Wish I had your problem
