  1. all depends on your XF as to what you think that is worth to you. 11 yo BA with 230ks could have all manner of issues. Is it manual (5 speed grenade) or Auto ? service history, bits replaced etc. Check a few car sales websites out and see what compares oh and
  2. I own a BF phoon with surge +044, local tuner says around $ 2500 to migrate to a KPM intank.system ~10% of vehicle value Apparently not sure about compatibility of BF tank with pump, may need FG tank ? WTF . won't touch it at that price, Too hard and too expensive.

  4. I read this thread with interest as some good points are raised. I currently run a surge with an 044 pump. The pump becomes increasingly noisier once ambient temp increases above 30 degrees even when the car is given no stick. It has the sound deadening upgrade fitted but still sounds like a nest of angry bees once the under bonnet temps rise. On the dyno there are no apparent issues with fuel delivery despite back to back to back runs once warm within 5rwkw Clearly to me at least there is a direct relationship between fuel temp and pump noise. Maybe the pump is struggling, that said a quieter in tank is worth investigating given I am running a nancy 350 rwkw

  8. I think most coppers generally apply the "no dickhead" rule. Had a roll on with a HWP car just north of Bulledelah from the change of limit from 40- 110ks backed off at the speed limit. Got a toot , thumbs up and"goes all right" and off they went no doubt well in excess of the 110k limit.

  15. Question is the car stock or running a 10 psi tune ? As tranny said get it up on the Dyno and see what's what. Post up the graphs if you want some feedback. Most guys on here use SCT flash tuners and have for years so heaps of knowledge. In terms of stock injectors it will come down to supporting hardware and the safety margin in the tune. My tip , do some searches as there is over a decade of tuning and modding threads on here so most questions have been already been discussed at length. Additionally, once you know what your base is decide where you wan't to go power wise. Step at a time is expensive in re-tunes , that said you don't wan't a billionty at the wheels if not used to big power.
  16. not sure of the benefit of boost controllers except for race applications. tune and the right actuator ought to be enough to control boost. Never considered one for a daily driver yet others swear buy them. Go figure
