My air con also failed earlier in year, was told linked to reverse lights and had short around switch on gear box which had blown fuse (may pay to check other fuses), never really followed up to much as has been working since one of the few things ford service have been able to repair.

No middle muffler, bmc panel filter, 12500 k's on the clock, manual with 208.2 rwkw, tested in shootout mode.
