Nice to catch up with fellow "T" owners The cruise went off well after a shaky start and all very well behaved. Only one Expensive Daewoo gave us the finger on the run, sure he was jealous to see all those Fords together. I think the feeling was this should happen more often and all is needed is someone to take the lead and put together a list of owners who can be contacted and become intererseted in making it happen. Thanks for getting the cruise to happen Redhawk. The trip was well worth it and I believe we all enjoyed meeting up. As for the next cruise in the Swan Valley area that would be just great if say 20/25 cars made the trip. Lets here from all you members out there that will come along on this trip. My car has had the diff replaced at 3800 klms. Repacement is the same as the original. Whine comes in at 95 /98 klms. per hr. and is gone at 100 klms. per hr. It is only noticeable on light trottle and unless you try to hit the right speed you would not here the whine. My dealer has logged the fault and has stated they will wait for the diff supplier to come up with a result that overcomes the problem before fitting another diff. I have agreed to this as the whine is not that bad I can't live with for a while :( August build 2003 xr6t

Just had car phone kit installed and when phone is ringing a whine is coming from speakers. No problem prior to phone kit installation. Like one of the other replies stated a suppressor would more likely fix the isue in earlier cars but not this model I think. Will be seeing installers on Monday to see if they have an answer to it.
