38K sounds a touch high for a Mk1, even with the good options you have. Just wondering if the car has already been modded and that's why the high price. Brand new runout MkII's were being grabbed for that price a few months back. ← No No 38000 Km. Jeez could just about get a GT for $38k HAHAH

Took delivery for my XR6t tonight. WOW these ate nice cars. Question...do the controls on the steering wheel light up when the lights are turned on? they dont on this one.

I have tried them all. My preferance was meguires but now all I use is Toughseal. Not avaliable in stores. Whitewalls SA sell it in Adelaide. It KILLS the rest. I have a phabtom XR6 and the paint looks like glass. Depth id incredible. Posted pic does do it any justice but will give you an idea Contact no 0427715380.

VIK yes I used Whitewalls SA. He did a great job and I bought some polish from him. This polish KILLS anything I have used before. It is the BEST. NOTHING comes close. No swirl marks and the paint looks 2 feet deep. I will post pics when car is finished. Cheers Bernie

Its happened. After 15 months I have sold the BA XR6 and bought a Mazda 6 Luxury Sports Hatch. the XR6 was great but man-o-man it was heavy on fuel. Had done 30,000 km as well. Got $30k trade for it. Typical ford or holden, loosing heaps of money. Not to worry. the Mazda6 has leather, sunroof, 200w BOSE system with 6stack CD, 4 air bags and side curtain air bags. One day I probably will get back into a falcon. I suppose the good thing is FORD own most of MAZDA ZOOM-ZOOM

Hey all again, Went to the SA GT club display day and had a look at a new GT Falcon. It had a nice analouge clock in the middle of the dash. Found this link http://forums.fordmods.com/phpBB2/documents.php?doc=53 Had fittinh instructions and wiring diagram. I fitted one to my XR6 and it looks and works great. ( the clocks are not avaliable to XR or XT range of BA falcons ) Hope this helps Bernie

Hey all, Do you know if the comp program on an non turbo XR6 can be modified? I have been told that there is a program in the computer for Police vehicles. Gives a little extra power. Thanks Bernie

I noticed the air inlet to the airbox has a bigger opening on the XR6 turbo comp[ared to the XR6 non turbo. If this larger inlet was fitted to a non turbo XR6 would there be a slight increase in power because of more airflow?
