I think he is a tosser also. Dont forget the title he won was vacant anyway. I especially liked it when he went for one of the other (how many world's are there?) world titles and was knocked on his arse. And then to top it off you have Ray Martin last night comparing him to Ali. Get a grip.

Well done you lucky sod, Mine is supposed to arrive on the 26th of Sept and by all accounts everything is on time. If it does it will have taken 2 and a half months. And that is with being a fleet buyer who got a big discount (sorry guys )

The bloke said that the chip goes inside the ecu and they use all of the original ford box, bolts etc. As I said the bloke who just got it done reckons he cant see anything and the bloke who fitted it told me the location it is in but I cant remember. Somewhere at the passengers feet I think. Anyone else have any ideas?

Gents Just talked to the guy up here in Cairns who fits the unichip. He has a really good reputation around town for performance cars. Asked him about the Phase 1, 2, 3 and 4 kits for the XR6T. He said that only the Phase 1 is available at the moment and the others will soon follow. Apparently he installed a phase 1 the other day in a XR6T and it went from 240kw to around 275kw. APS quotes that you should get 280kw but we do not have the premium fuel up here as no one sells it. I was quoted $1650 no more to pay and he stated that you cannot see that it has been fitted. Just thought you would like to know. Cheers

Gents Apparently my car is on the production line at the moment. I have been given my SIDO number (6 digits) and have been looking at the ford website waiting to see some pictures. Does anyone know how long it takes until you get these pictures? The site keeps on telling me that they are not available until the car is "Retailed". Does anyone have any ideas? :idea: Thanks in advance.

Its quite funny actually that the mechanics usually find out about problems from their customers. Before I ordered my XR6T I looked at quite a few different cars and did a little bit of research. As you do. What I found funny was that I usually knew more about the car I was looking at than the sales rep did. Does anyone else find this?

Guys You probably already know about this but I will give it a shot. With all of the stone chips and scratches, we have a guy up here in Cairns who goes around fixing them all. He is called "chips away" and does a really good job. He usually only does bumpers but I had a really deep scratch (4 inches long) on the panel just above my wheel and he fixed it like new for $100. I'm sure these type of guys are everywhere but I reckon they are great until you are ready to respray your bumpers. Just a thought.

Glenn I ordered a citric acid XR6T. Everything else is standard because I usually like to do the little things myself such as stereo equipment. I actually ordered mine through Metro Ford in Brisbane because I get them through work and they were the "cheapest" It is supposed to arrive 26th of September and by the looks everything is going fine. I will be flying down to pick it up then taking a leisurley (spelling?) cruise back up the coast to bring it home. Cant wait!! :D

Gents Whoever attends this day could they please inform us of the results from this meeting. It would be greatly appreciated by the people who are in the middle of nowhere as I would love to go but there is no chance of getting there from FNQ. Thanks for that

G'day guys Was out driving in Cairns the other day when I saw a NA citric acid XR6 in the rear view mirror. Now, I took notice because I have a citric acid XR6T on order which is supposed to arrive on the 26th of Sept. :D Once it caught up to me, I wound my window down to have a listen and noticed it was a manual. Now the thing is he was trying to get around another car (keep left unless overtaking, d******d) and his car seemed to be backfiring. Now I have never heard of this as a problem, anyone got any ideas?

G'day guys. Just heard something you may be interested in. I was talking to the rep at Metro Ford regarding when I was getting my 6T when he said that ford had received a report that someone had upped there car too 8.5 psi and ran a 11.3 quarter. Dont know if any other work was done to the car but what do you guys reckon? Bollocks or what?

Gents, Decided against paying for the premium sound on my XR6. Usually I will always buy Alpine gear for any new car I buy, but have been told that due to the new setup in the BA's that it is almost impossible to fit any aftermarket sound gear. Has anyone tinkered with this or have any ideas on what we can play with? Sorry if this topic has been run before!

I would be interested to know the price of the aftermarket job. I was thinking about getting the ford guys to do it when ordering the car but decided against it. Any ideas?
