  1. Add launch control to the above list and that's pretty much all of it. Benny.
  2. It's a long way to travel but I don't know anywhere I'd trust up here to do a real good job. Wholesale did a great job on my car and I wouldn't hestiate going back down again. Benny.
  3. I would suggest going to Wholesale Suspension on Sydney rather than have someone up here do it. Benny.
  4. If I had a BF F6 and wanted to upgrade the fuel system then I'd get a Process West Anti surge tank fitted with a Bosch 044. The more cost effective option would be to fit an aeromotive 340, at the power level you are looking it will be fine. Benny.
  5. What do they stop like F6BF? Have you had a chance to do any track work with them? Thanks, Benny.
  6. What car and what power are you aiming for? Offset doesn't really matter if you use the strainer that comes with the new pump I believe. Someone else should be able to confirm. Factory pump is an offset inlet. Benny.
  7. I would seriously consider buying from Tire Rack if I couldn't get Invo's from Oz. I'd probably buy some 285/30/20 Michilen Pilot Super Sports. Also I'd be cautious fitting a profile greater than a 30 with a 285 on the rear of an FG sedan without pumping guards. Benny.
  8. My 20 x 10 rear with a +40 offset takes up 29mm more space on the inside compared to a factory 36.5 offset wheel. This essentially means there is a distance of 10mm between the rim and control blade arm. The tyre I have (285 Nitto) takes approx another 5mm of that space. Now the 9.5 with a +45 will take up 28mm more space on the inside than a factory 36.5 offset wheel so you will have 11mm from the rim to the control blade arm. Depending on the tyre you fit and it's overall width will depend on how much room you have left. The other thing to consider is the front offset you are looking at will take up 10mm more room on the inside. Will this fit ok? Will depend on the tyre you choose I think. Benny.
  9. Heard of another unhealthy Miami the other day after being tuned. Bad noise and blowing blue smoke. Not sure what the final prognosis was unfortunately. Benny.
  10. Ok so after reading Mick's other post it seems not. Like he said "never assume".Benny.
  11. I'm going to make an assumption and say it's the same pump used in the GT. From what I'm lead to believe they flow between 330-350LPH at a base fuel pressure of 50psi. In a GT they are good for up to approx 430rwkw. Regards, Benny.
  12. I would also suggest Tunehouse or Autotech. Benny.
  13. They will fit no problems at all Wombat. Standard offset is +36.5 Benny.
  14. Yep factory GT still 8" wide. Benny.
  15. Beware of imitation Walbros which there are plenty coming from China. Another pump option is the Aeromotive stealth 340. Benny.
  16. Nice addition Chris. What other mods do you have? Benny.
  17. Might I suggest the Aeromotive 11142 340lph, Deatschwerks DW300 or even the Walbro DCSS405 which is one of the highest flow rated in tank pumps I can find. Benny.
  18. I actually had this joiner spilt on my FG Turbo so keep an eye on it. If it splits and you want to replace it with a factory joiner then you have to buy the plastic bend also as Ford sell them as one part. I chose to go after market with better clamps. Benny.
  19. Doesn't sound like much but the difference is:285/30/20 circumference 2133.1mm side wall 85.5mm 275/35/20 circ 2200.7mm side wall 96.2mm So the difference from stock tyre size is 7.1% bigger where as the 285/30 is 3.8% and 275/30 2.9% Benny.
  20. The price of my 285's was $380ea and 275's were much the same. I wouldn't be going to a 275/35/20 as the profile will be too big 275/30/20 would be better. On a 10 inch rim a 275 will have a bit of stretch but not a great deal.Benny.
  21. Although I can't comment on upgrading on the same car I can tell you that upgrading from an XR6T (slotted 4000's with pads) to a GT with 4 pot fronts was a big improvement. I was considering upgrading my GT to the 6/4 setup but for what I'm using my car for (spirited street use) the current setup is proving quite capable. The FPV rear brakes are diffferent to the rear XR. Larger caliper and rotor. Benny.
  22. Bellato, The wheel and tyres sizes you're considering are the same as mine but I'm using Tein coilovers. You will need to be careful on how low you go depending on the tyre that you decide to run as many manufactures have differing measured widths of the same width tyre e.g 285 actual measured width of 295mm. I'm running Nitto Invo's 245 front and 285 rear with the rear tyre being a very tight fit. My car isn't extremely low with a measurement of 631mm from bottom of rim to guard. I've had no issues on the front but the rear I've recently raised up from (621) to the same height as the front (631) due to the tyre scrubbing the guard occasionally during spirited driving. Now that I've done this all is well with no issues. The Nitto 275 tyre is quite a bit skinnier than the 285 (more than 10mm) so if you decide to go 275 you might be able to go lower. Benny.
  23. For Sydney a suggestion would be GCG http://gcg.com.au/ . Regards, Benny.
  24. Changing the pump shouldn't require a tune. The best generic tunes will probably come from some of the best tune shops if they do them. I heard the other day that Spiro at Autotech will do them if you're that way inclined. Benny.
  25. Carefully cut the mesh section out with a sharp blade is how you do it. Benny.
