I first saw one of these alarms on a friends 98 sti. The way it worked was if the door was opened or seat belt was removed before the ignition was turned off then the car would shut down after a set time. A pin code had to be entered to stop the car from shutting down or to restart the car. This was introduced by Subaru to stop peoples cars from being hijacked while waiting at traffics lights. I'm not sure of the maker of the alarm because they are factory fitted.

Are you talking about the intake snorkel that goes from the air box to the top of the radiator. If so I put the XR8 snorkel with the little Tickford symbol on my old AU. It's exactly the same as the T's snorkel but the T's doesn't have the Tickford symbol.

Mmmm don't be too cocky I've seen some pretty fast, what you call " Rice Burners" out there. It doesn't matter what you pull up next at the lights there could be something angry lurking under the bonnet.

I think you'll find that the stream of air coming from the car is actually the NOS being purged. Just a big w@nk in my books.

Traveling at speed in reverse would be quite scary I think. Kinda like doing top speed in a fork lift, everything seems to get out of control and you start over correcting yourself.

Reminds me of nights that I've been out and about in sydney with the street racing. It's quite and experiance driving through the tunnel with about fifty other modified cars, some doing break neck speeds. I'm not condoning this guys actions but atleast he was doing it in the early hours with no possiblity of hitting someone coming the other way.

????? I installed it on the end closest to the firewall. (The shorter pipe). Not the pipe that goes under the intake. Which I thought was the return pipe. Is this the correct one?? Maybe a pic if someone has one. This pic may help. Why did you put the blow off valve there?? I put the blow off valve inplace of the old one on the other side of the pipes. Sorry I didn't do this it's just a photo I had. There is more than one place to put them.

BOV's relieve boost pressure between the throttle body and the turbo. Doing this stops this back pressure from slowing turbo rotation speed and therefore reduces lag between gear changes.

Blow off valves are only illegal if they vent the boost pressure into the atmosphere. If they are plumbed back in everything is ok.

Please ring Ford customer care line and file a complaint saying that you've had the fix done and you've got shudder back. When I rang to complain they said they had no records of people with shudder after their so called perminant fix was performed.

I've got after market 18"s and 4000 series rotors with bendix pads but I'm still getting shudder issues. So I'm just trying to justify the $.

Hmmm sounds great for the money you paid. Just trying hard now to convince myself not to do the same.

So Hitman the new brakes you've got are the same size rotor as standard (298mm) but upgraded everything to better quality?

I was informed about these new calipers a few weeks ago when I had brake shudder issues The person that told me this info said to ring Fords customer care and if I complained enough I'd get them. So I rang Ford and told them that I'd had the shim fix done and that it hasn't fixed the shudder. They then proceeded to tell me that there was no reports of shudder from any other customer that has had the shim recall performed and that they didn't know anything about a redesigned caliper. What a load of sh$t. So everyone out there that has had the shim recall done and has got shudder back ring Ford's customer care No. and tell them your situation.

Ahh good to see a man with good taste I've got 18x8 AMG's with bridgestone So-3 rubber.
