If you add some 4000 series rotors and ferodo pads then you'll be happy I'm sure. Other pads to consider might be RB74's. I have the ferodo's and they might squeel once every now and then but not much at all. If you don't take the car to the track then this brake setup will be plenty good enough. As for the extra torque you will be putting through the gearbox after an edit then there is no doubt it will effect it's life span. The 4 speed auto was only made to handle the 450nm that's why they are the week point. But like anything when it comes to reliabilty you'll get back what you put in. Get a better grade transmission oil, change it reqularly, possibly a trans cooler and with your driving style it should last you for quite a while.
