  1. The one's I have were $550 ea in 245/35/19. Neros are cheaper and 18's should be cheaper again. Should try to get a St George deal. Some good prices coming from there recently.Benny
  2. Looks really good. Wonder if those wheels come in +36 and +42? That would be the perfect offset for a sedan I'd think. Benny
  3. In 18's there are many choices. If you want grip at no cost or life then I'd go Toyo R888. If you want a cheaper tyre with grip and short life then Kuhmo KU36. If you want a longer life with good wet and dry grip then Goodyear Asymetrical or Pirelli P Zero which are very expensive. I have the P Zeros (Next ones up from Neros). Benny
  4. Nice work Rusty. Does turning the key still allow the car to start? Also is the button just pushed into the 30mm hole or does it have to be held from behind the panel somehow? cheers, Benny
  5. Kvbaby, Unfortunately KU's don't come in 19's in the size I need, if they did I'd buy them, but I have friends using them and they are great for street use and quite well priced. I currently have Pirelli P Zero's ($600ea) which are much more expensive and wear just as quick. Benny
  6. He's one for you comparing the FG top to BA/BF bottom. Benny
  7. Time for some injectors now and push the limits of the turbo. Benny
  8. The cost for a turbo XR8 would be too great for Ford. Much cheaper to have one blown. Would be nice to have a XR8TT though. Benny
  9. That's some good looking Jacks. What prices AUS? Benny
  10. Size should be same as standard 245/40/18 and available sizes can be found on the net for each brand. Life will depend highly on your driving style but soft tyres may only last 15000k if you use them as intended. Benny

The type of pad you use can greatly effect the probability of shudder. Make sure you select a quality pad material to go with your rotor choice. Benny
  12. For turbo rebuilds I'd be going straight to GCG in Sydney. Benny
  13. KU36's for sure. Good grip and cheap as chips. Benny
  14. Mine are solid rears as well. But been slotted 4000's for a while. Can't see any real advantage to upgrade to ventilated though. Can't imagine noticing any difference. Benny
  15. Nice work Russ good to see you back on board. I'll have to keep an eye out for ya. Benny
  16. This is a real issue and has had me looking for ages to find something. Really there isn't much available and what is available is expensive and obviously wont last long at all. Options I've found for best grip that's not a normal street tyre is: Toyo R888 (Fast wear but good) Yokohama AD08 Bridgestone RE11 (Japan Import) Benny
  17. Impressive to see so much data being used to analyse the effectiveness of their product. Not many companies go to this level. Well done. Benny
  18. Interesting design. I wonder how it flows with being varying thicknesses. Benny
  19. I agree. Benny
  20. Welcome back to the club mate. I'm sure you'll be looking for more power in the future. It's an addiction. Benny
  21. Boost69, I'd be getting rid of those Bendix pads. I've had problems with Bendix on my old Falcon and replaced them with only 5000k's on them. I have 4000's with Ferodo DS pads and have no issues. Benny
  22. Ford has specifically designed there cars to stop people from gaining power without them knowing. This is of course a smart decision when you are offering a warranty. They didn't want to see something happen like when Subaru started selling there WRX's and everyone came back in trying to claim component failures due to after market mods. There's just simply not much that can be done to the Fords where the car will not know and either stop the fun or log trouble codes for your dealer to read. Benny
  23. Well I guess they'll have to do something with all the left over interiors from the failed export contract. Benny
  24. No KU36 in a 245 or 255 19 inch unfortunately. Wish they did make them because I'd have them. Benny

    Cordless Wrench

A mate of mine has a Snap On battery rattle gun and it's an awesome peice of kit. Battery lasts really well and gets nuts undone that we couldn't get with a 400mm breaker bar. Not cheap but I'd highly recommend one. Benny
