  1. I use Ferodo DS performance pads which are a great street performance pad with excellent fade resistance. Will do anything you want to try on the street. If you want better again then DS2500's are the go for track work but you said "tad" so maybe not. Benny
  2. Are your asking so gauges can be installed or the actual oil cooler it's self? Benny.
  3. Another option is one of these. Always thought they might be a good idea to install. Hiclone, Fuel Economy, Hyclone Fuel Saver Pulstar Pulse Plugs Petrol Diesel LPG - Oil Filter Benny
  4. Can you explain a little better? I'm not quite clear what you are looking for. Do you mean the engine oil cooler? Benny
  5. I'm not convinced that the new GT is going to make that power at the rears. Something isn't right. Benny
  6. Thanks. I'm looking to get wheels through this guy also. Benny
  7. For naturally aspirated engines porting can make good gains with air flow as the engine has to suck the air in. On forced induction motors it's not regularly done due to the air being pushed in and it being easier to just run few more psi to make the figures. Benny
  8. For normal street use I probably not use R888 due to possible hardening after regular heat cycles on daily driving. Really should be for track use. The AD08 unfortunatley don't have a high enough load rating for the Falcon. Tirerack is the best place if you can import some from them. Great prices for the top end tyres. Benny
  9. I'd check wheel bearings. When I had a stuffed wheel bearing the car was swerving left and right when accelerating hard and when cruising felt like the wind was blowing it left and right but there was no wind. Benny.
  10. It's a 4 inch dump and 5 inch cat. Purchased through Tunehouse. Benny

  12. Pat will be here soon. Woo hoo Pat where are you? Benny
  13. I don't have a definate answer for this but after looking at wastegates on turbos on a number of occasions I can't imagine they'd seal that well. It's just steel on steel. I'd imagine there would be some leakage past the flapper but as long as it stays closed and directs majority of the gases through the turbine on boost then it'll work good enough. Just my thoughts, not sure if I'm right or not. Benny
  14. Sorry my mistake they are Plasmaman. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59522&st=0&p=905430&hl=FG+BOV&fromsearch=1 Benny
  15. A little vent like on an Evo in the bonnet may not look too bad but I'd be a little concerned about water also. Benny
  16. Pretty sure Process West make a nice replacement BOV for FG's Benny
  17. Mark, Idle has a slightly deeper burble and cruising is pretty much the same as but as I said when you hit the go pedal it turns heads in the street wondering what the hell is coming. Benny
  18. The manual and auto both have the engine oil cooler. Benny
  19. The typhoons have an oil cooler between the oil filter and the block which may be the culperate if it has failed internally. Benny
  20. Looking good dude. Definately wont miss that driving around with the 50th anniversary stuff. Benny
  21. The factory Ford plugs are good plugs but definately need gapping to 0.8 before tuning. Benny
  22. Looking good Paul. Nice to see some engine mods taking place. Keep the mods and pics coming. Benny
  23. Tell us how you go. Will be interested to know. Benny
  24. You must have a short somewhere for it to blow a fuse instantly during start up. If you have a multimeter then it's time to do some testing. Without having the schematic diagram to look at it's hard to tell you where to start. Is the pink wire fed from a different fuse to the red wire? Which fuse it blowing? When the relay energises it sounds like it's closing the 12v onto a direct ground. Benny
