  5. that was so funny, guy running it couldnt believe it. "it must have broken the diff, its free reving' "nar, nar, that's just limiter, see the lines its painting"
  6. have you taken f6f down the 1/4 yet ramon? will it be at power cruise?
  7. that x5m is mint, had the pleasure of going for a tootle with Karl, author of the caradvice article whilst he was doing its review. it gets off the line incredably quick for such a large car, was suprised at how long it stayed filling my rear view mirror.
  8. decent skid that's for sure, not so sure on the choice of rims though.
  9. I took a grinder to mine, which turned out alright after a bit of touching up. however what I learnt from the experiance is that the double lip is only secured by 3 spot welds which can be lifts by sticking a screwdriver in there. this seperates the double lip and then you can roll the guard as a normal car, only you need to resecure the bit you seperates or else your gaurds flex in the breeze as you drive, I did this myself and just bent it back a little differently and sikaflex'd it back to the inside of the tub. hope that makes sense. I needed 25mm spacers all round to fix the massive offset fail of the fg.
  10. nice pics, only a minor pick but the front on shot you`ve photoshopped the screw holes out from the number plate, kind of needs doing on the other two shots.
  11. I`ve tried a set, would need to machine the hub center out and the fronts would stick out a mile. was so disappointed as they look sooo good.
  12. yer that would have been me, was in a rush to make a track session, just landed from been in kalgoorlie for a couple of days.
  13. newl, gavin at www.gt-graphics.com.au is the man to talk to about signwriting. has done steve jones' targa west winning 35gtr and has the nicest rs cosworth in australia.

  18. thanks for your 8+week old thread dig only to post dribble.
  19. $25 to get into autosalon, or $75 for a morning of skids at the midvale speed dome. I think me and tocchi made the right choice. I`ve organised another day on the 14th august, which has already filled out, but if there is enough people on here interested I might orgainse an all falcon day.
  20. wax? whats that?
  21. clean your car before taking pics ya dickhead.
  22. looking good dude, just hope the pits dont rape you too hard. just running pump fuel? or giving E85 a bash? hows it gone so far?
  23. yes matt, if its a mod which needs a permit, than you need a permit to pass the pits, pretty straight forward. johns links listed before explain what mods do and dont need permits. if they have picked you for illegal tint and its legal, you dont need a permit and you will pass. if they have picked your exhuast, you will need a permit to pass.
  24. I was gang raped at welshpool for just a cooler and exhuast, and couldnt believe they passed an evo I took over at O`connor, the dude was calling other inspectors over to show them it was a cosworth motor, "probly wont ever see one of these again", he even added the wording cosworth to the engine number on the rego paper "that will stop anyone trying to give you grief if you ever get a sticker".
