Hi All, As some of you know, I have purchased a 2003 E46 M3 to replace my 430kw T. All I can say is, this car is unbeleivable in every way!!!! I am not giving a reveiw now seeing I haven't driven it that much yet but from the times I have driven it all I can say is that it is amazing. It handles like its on rails and the attention to detail is something special. I thought I was going to be disapointed in its straight line performance but again I was suprised at how fast it felt, and I reckon up to 100km/h it would give my old T a run for its money. It glues you back in your seat and revs all the way to 8000rpm. The fit and finish on the inside is supurb and the attention to detail is something else and so it should be.. I still can't get over how mean it looks. anyway I will probably give a more detail reveiw once I have a proper drive, only picked it up on Monday night.. Daniel. Here are some pics.

I think the service from Ford is absolutely disgusting to say the least. I won't buy another new ford from any dealer again ever. They have a excuse for everything. especially the dealer in sydney city and head office. CRAP CRAP. this will get deleted probably.

That sucks doesn't it.. The govenment has got its priorities all wrong.. I was reading in the paper that the road is more safe than the workplace. You even have more chance of commiting suicide than dieing on the road. But the government will treat speeding drivers worse than they treat criminals such theives and drug dealers. WHAT A F'ING JOKE....... Whitetee, its not only the gear and the hassel of losing stuff but it makes you sick inside knowing someone has invaded your home, It just makes you feel less safe. I got broken into 5 years ago, I had to move houses, my girlfirend came home while they where in the house, lucky she heard them and called the police from a neighbours place, she could of been hurt. Nothing was stollen except for my lap top and a camera due to the interuption but still.

Yeah that's why I got mine 2nd hand. I got it real cheap through a friend at BMW. If I consider the mods done to my T, the BM wasn't much more in total.

SMG is a 6 speed manual with no clutch pedal. The clutch operates via electronics that make gear changes much faster than a normal manual. It has 5 modes and a extra sport mode to determine how fast the gears change, manual changing is either done via gear lever on center console or F1 type padels on stearing wheel. It also has a launch control function as well.

Blonk you crack me up, you really love to stir the pot. I heard that fluro vest with the safety inspectors is a bit of a myth. But anyway the fluro caped police I have seen were in kings cross on the beat, gives the smack dealers a bit of chance to see them comming I think. But blonk I have always wanted to catch a cop pulling me over without his vest so I could try the ill report you if u book me trick.

Yes I have bought a 2003 steel grey M3 with smg. got it for a really good price. Unfortunatly I am not able to afford to keep my T as well (its financed and renting a extra car space where I live is $50 a week). A very lucky forum member has bought it, Im sure he will reveal himself once he has taken delivery. It will be sad to see her go and I'm happy I will hear about it threw the forum and possibly see it on a cruize if I ever get my sh!t together and come to one. my M3 will never match the straight line performace of my 430kw T. But im going to be doing track work so Im more concered about handling etc. I am not a car snob either, I love my fords and always will. The T is a brilliant car and will probably be the fasted car ill ever own. But the M3 has been my dream car for years and years and owning one has always been one of my goals. I will post some pics when I pic it up. I can't wait..... At least I dont have to wait 3 months like I did with the T. Like big Kev im excited!

come on you were 17 once too. I sugest he get good representation. How is his previous record? Was he drinking? He has his age on his side. The least he will get is 3 months suspension. If its not drink driving as well he should be in that much He should of got his mates to disappear from the accident without passengers he would of been treated more leniently. I think??
