I don't know why people get so upset when soft roaders such as these are driven in the city areas and never off road. If I had a family and needed a wagon it would be something like the X5 and I probably would hardly take it off road. Im sorry but station wagons are ugly unless they are in a soft roader format.

Are you telling me that a 32 valve quad cam v8 is not technology <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The technology I am refering to is the proximity sensor!! Not the engine. Its part of the package that Fpv are providing to make it a little bit different than the rest, its a bit like saying whats the point of having a side skirt on a XR compared to an XT does that make it gimiky tacky and pointless <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um not really. The starter button is useless and sideskirts add to the look of the car. If the startor button functioned without the turning of the key I might accept it!! You don't need to get defensive, im not bagging your car just the starter button. If anyone doesnt see how it wouldnt be a pain in the rectum please shed some light!!

Agreed, I hate people that bag the SMG!! Yeah it takes awhile to get used to but once you do, its one of the best damb gearboxes in the world. Why bag out a cars technology just because you aren't used to it. Give it a month of owning the car and you would find all the gadgets to be of great use. I like the fact that I get to chose the speed of my gear changes when I go for a drive. It comes in very handy. Um Zap the guy is a amazing driver from what I have seen.

IMO they are gimicy tacky and pointless. They belong on sports cars with the technology such as mercedes has. For example the SL 55 AMG and SL 600 have a sensor to sense you are in the car with the keys this then allows the car to be started with the starter button only. I cant think of anything more stupid then the FPV startor button. Why on earth would you want to place keys in ignition turn to on position then press startor button.

3000 for the 1st year!! that's a fisting.. when I owned a T it was only $1800 per year and I live in Potts Point Sydney which is considered a high risk area. I have also been suspended from driving 3 times. Never had a crash though

OMG P platers arnt alloud a 3 cyl charade turbo but its no problem for them to drive a BMW M3. who put this ridiculous list together.

She is a idiot and that's not a doubt and I respect the law but police heavy handling citizens for minor offences is out of line IMO. Maybe police need to be like this in the USA due to their gun laws etc but if they did that here in Australia the cop should be disciplined for his heavy handed actions. Respecting the law is one thing but a appropriate handling of a situation is needed not a quick easy heavy handed response!!! The woman was treated like a armed felon on the run.
