That's a lot of weight to lose mate. Not only what you already have but also what you want to achieve. Have you considered seeing a someone that can measure your vitals and put a meal plan together? You can get a rough understanding of your metabolic rate, add in your exercise, consume less calories than you burn and bam the weight WILL continue to drop. If you're platueing I would think its more what and how much rather than when and the frequency in which you do eat. But to be honest I would be more than happ if I was you and time will bring further results! Well done!

Dieting is about cal in v cal out well from what I could gather from my research. It seems too many people try and over complicate it with things IF or IIFYM. I guess it comes down to what ever helps you deal with the hunger and if it is starving then binging so be it haha. I just don't see a lot of really successful fitness / muscle people using "dirty" eating habits like IIFYM. I can't see the point in eating all your calories basically in junk through 1 or 2 small meals where I can safely pig out through the course of a day if I'm eating clean. Whilst putting on muscle. I have gone from 23% bf down to 9% and I am actually putting on weight now which I would assume is lean muscle. Maybe half a kg a fortnight but I'm happy with that!

To be honest mate you won't know until you get it looked at by the shop. Try and enjoy your Sunday night and look forward to the fun albeit expensive next stage of your build. -
Engine Won't Crank Over After Stalling Fg Turbo(Auto)
Wingnut replied to wowxr6t's topic in General Tech
100,000 Kms? How many of those were you running 360? I would assume it would be time for a rebuild anyway as these turbos aren't great after that amount of Kms according to what a lot of people suggest. As for running out of oil, these things are very resilient at times. I services mine the other day and as I pulled off the sump I didn't have a single drop come out. Covered better in a previous post but not it has good oil it's purring. I would think if your engine wasn't getting enough oil you would have had an oil pressure warning light come up. Mine was going crazy and that's how I got into the issue. -
I change it up every week but my workout this week was: Biceps 21s with preacher bar 4 sets Straight bar curls 4 sets Dumbbell curls incline bench 4 sets Rope pull ups 4 sets Triceps Rope pull downs 4 sets T bar push downs alternating over and underhand grip same set 10 reps each 4 sets ( that one kills) All 12-15 reps with a relatively low weight. I dropped the weight and focus on full motion and correct form. I alternate the amount I concentrate on each muscle each time I do arms so next workout will be more focused on triceps. Once again working for me but always trying new things to find what's best.

I always do a full arm day. They are probably my most "aesthetic" feature so I want to make the most of it lol. Witnessed a new level of fail/douchery today at my new gym. Guy walks in, does 10 mins of cardio, 10 mins of weights, spends 20 mins in the bathrooms getting changed then steps into the squat rack where he takes an unloaded bar and starts to curl. I would assume he's trying to get one last pump in before he went out as he was all dolled up. The whole concept of what he was doing was sad enough but curling an unloaded bar in a sqaut rack was just astonishing....

I can only speak from my own experience after owning modern versions of both and my opinion stands.

I actually said it didn't bother me much that's why I haven't had the issues fixed. I love my car please don't think I'm bagging ford here but it is built like sh*t. What kind if car rusts after only a couple of years? I won't buy a new ford again which is a shame as I wanted my next car to be a S/C GT. but I will keep my T for a very long time. As stated before I really do love it.

I cant agree with what has been said about build quality and attention to detail. Issues with my car since new and not related to my mods: Diff clunk Suspension squeak Rattling in drivers side window Wiper jets not shooting water Gapping in left hand side of the car very different to right Power steering leak Various small spots of rust in paint work Radio has poor reception iPhone connector not working I'm sure there is more but can't think of it atm. Now I know all of this could have been covered under warranty (FG series 1ute) but to be honest with how hard most people have trying to get things sorted I'm really not up for the sh*t fight over what aren't major issues. Last car I owned was a VE SS ute. 2 issues, paint in the rear bar needed to be redone and the clutch trigger to start the car stopped working. From my own experience the VE was a much better built car. The Ford does feel like a taxi when I drive it these days which is a bit upsetting as I still love it to bits. Goes hard, sounds wicked, looks sh*t hot and I've had it since new. So once again I can't agree with anyone that says Ford built quality matches up as my BA was very much the same.

I will never give my car to a workshop to change the oil ever again. You just don't know what they are going to use. I changed the oil in my car for the first time today after having look after by a couple of different places. I decided to only after about 5000kms since the last service due to the oil pressure warning light coming on. I must admit I don't check my oil levels too often as the car doesn't drop any fluids at all. I assumed maybe the oil had just degraded so much it needed to go. Jack her up, undo the sump plug and nothing comes out.... Not a single bloody drop... How does a car use over 6 litres of oil in 5000? I pull off the filter and it is full of jet black sludge... Not oil, sticky sludgy junk that I have never seen come out of an engine. I'm devastated as I have no idea how bad the damage is internally. Anyway, I threw a couple of bottles of Penrite 10-50w and so far she's purring. But hopefully the new oil flushes out all the old sludge and I can do another change next week that will get me a few thousand safe Kms. She most certainly needs a full rebuild but ill wait until it expires and then make it a weekender.

I found it helpful in knowing how far I can push myself as that super set or drop set really f*cking burns. In the end it's what ever works for you. I try new things every time I'm in the gym. Some work some don't and finding what suits your body is a lot if fun. I wasn't happy with my chest workout so I tried something I saw Dexter do by super setting flat bench with the pec deck. It's something I always do.

I do that a lot too Mika but I think if you're going to failure then able to do 15-20 maybe the weight you're super setting with is a little low? I super set a lot these days

Very very few IFBB pros that are natural and I think only 1 has ever qualified for the Olympia. That I know of at least and he didn't compete. I find rope pull ups or the opposite to a triceps pull down good for my bicep also 21's seem to give me the best pump and I noticed a difference in how much size I was putting on when I took them out of my routine. I wouldnt mind doing a session with some of you big guys. I am wanting to compete sometime next year as I have a mate that has won a few trophies at the VIC and AUS amateurs and he recommends it and any tips or hints would be awesome.

Process West Surge Tank/pump Dead!
Wingnut replied to Wingnut's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
ALL FIXED! With a borrowed trolley jack and my Super Cheap tool kit that I keep behind my seat I did it under an hour. Im so chuffed!! The pump is whisper quite and dont ever remember the car running so smooth. Maybe I had a dud from the start or it was so bad for so long I forgot what it should be like. Anyway, once again I have bitten off more than I could chew and come out the other side having an absolute blast. I really should be doing this for a living. Its so much fun!! Once again thanks for all the help guys! -
My car has done this since tuned almost 3 years ago. It seems to do it though in very distinct spots. For example the same intersection I pass through every morning. I Thought it could be a fueling issue and due to my idling to a halt on a down slope and running a surge tank that it just stalled. Now my bosch 044 is dead and all this info has me stuffed!! If anyone ever figures this out let me know as 3 years of driving a practically new car that stalls has started to sh*t me.

Process West Surge Tank/pump Dead!
Wingnut replied to Wingnut's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
Awesome thanks for the info. What would you suggest I use then?? I want an easy direct replacement if possible as I just want the car back on the road and don't want to be ripped off by a shop considering I have done most of the work on my cars in the past. Preferably something that will match up to the surge tank installed as I really cbf tackling the job of removing it. -

Anyone able to suggest a place that stocks these more often than not? Finding it really hard to get my hands on tbh. Also any tips from people who have installed them. Maybe a step by step? Sorry for all the questions just can't afford to f*ck this up -
Worked out at the FF in Sylvania up in Sydney with my brother over the weekend. Really good gym, a heap of great equipment including things I had never seen before. Some really big boys, one guy was probably the biggest person I have seen in the flesh. The amount if muscle he was carrying was astonishing. Enough mass to compete at the very top level just not a great deal of athestics. I deffinately know I never want to get anywhere near that big lol.

I'm 100% certain it was the 044. Ok I guess I'll pick one up and give it a crack. Anything I need to be wary of? Any suggestions to reduce the amount of noise? -
So, over the last couple of months my PW surge tank and what I believe to be a Bosch 044 that they use had started to make a lot of noise. Now I know they are quite loud as it is and mine is particularly loud as it has been mounted in the engine bay, but the noise it was making was almost unbearable for a rather sedate daily driven car. For the last couple of days it not only had the usual whine/buzzing noise but almost like a rattling of metal. So on the way home tonight the noise stopped...Not a whisper.... The car hasnt made this little noise for the last 3 years or since I got it modded basically brand new. Now I assume after limping home the fuel pump has shat itself. When I tried to accelerate the car would just cough and splutter so I am guessing its running off what ever was left in the surge. Do they remove/disconnect the original fuel pump when installing the PW kit? Or is that what is trying to power my car? So if we assume that the fuel pumped is cactus, how hard are they to install? Should I give it a crack myself (I am pretty handy and have a fair bit of experience with cars) or for the sake of a few hundred bucks should I hand it to a shop? Also, is it worth having it re-installed in the rear of the car as I have seen with most UTES. Any advice would be great guys. This car has run perfectly apart from a few niggling things that I put off getting fixed and I would love to have her back on the road ASAP! Thanks!

I had a health check today and my blood is near on perfect. I get enough vitamins and nutrients in my diet without having to worry about killing the broccoli. that's more so what I meant, Im fine with it being just a filler. Im one of those lucky ones that love the taste of it plain.
