  1. Give it 12 months champ. Its a slow process but well worth the effort.
  2. Me and Mr O down at AAA today. Also got to meet Flex Lewis and Shawn Rhoden. All really nice guys.
  3. How long have you been working out Cizzink? You seem to know what you're doing so just be patient it takes time. Make sure you're getting in enough protein in with those calories and don't be afraid to do a little cardio maybe 2-3 times a week. It will help you build muscle faster.
  4. Jesus.... Good stuff!! I got a PB of 100 on my squat! lol... I don't know what my 1MR would be as I did a couple if sets at 12 reps.
  5. Anyone get out to Fitx today? Holy sh*t there were some big dudes there and not the boys competing either. The talent wasnt bad either....
  6. Exactly.... The first time I did bench after 10 years away from the gym I couldn't even do 1 plate each side. I was horrified but I dropped the weight to 15kg DB. Within a couple of months I was up to 30s. Keep at it!
  7. I love the smith machine!! Haha I don't really use it for chest anymore unless the bench presses are all taken. I have gone back to DB press and find it gives me a much better workout.
  8. I always gripped the bar rather soft and tried to focused more on the movement. Doing back tonight I gripped hard and found it improve my form. Once again this thread shows me the way!!
  9. I assumed pre work out basically is your creatine. I guess I'm wrong?
  10. http://streaming.bodybuilding.com/2013-arnold-webcast/ Some of the mass on these boys is simply astonishing. Really gets me pumped up to try and take things to that next level. Half the field are in their 40s!!!
  11. He he's squat record was 715lbs. So yeah he squats. I have seen him do most things in his videos but I would assume he doesn't go super heavy due to the metal valve in his chest keeping his heart from exploding.
  12. I've seen it pazzo. He's very hardcore but it also contradicts what a lot of other people say. Dorian Yates 6x Olympia is a great example. Train 45mins on a 4 day split. 2 on 1 off 2 on 1 off. He's Blood and Guts DVD is awesome. It comes down to what you want to achieve and a lot of other factors in your life. CTs clip about how he got 22" natural arms is a good one :-p I don't think you can over train really, but rest is important for me to deal with soreness. Like training legs when they are so sore you can barely stand is stupid. Arms are very different..
  13. I disagree on the smith machine. A lot of modern BBs are using them these days. I tend to watch a lot of YouTube videos lol. Granted they already have a good foundation to work with and good form but I have watched Victor Martinez do deadlifts on a smith machine... If its good enough for him?
  14. Poor fella! You're doing well though to throw it up on this site, lets hope we can track this bastard down and sort him out as I know even if ye is on parole there's not much hope the legal system will do a lot. I have had a few people get out of their cars to have a go and the best bet is to get right out with them and make your presence known. If your sitting down with a door between you and them they will always throw a punch as its a position if advantage. You get out, puff your chest they usually back off as most if these deros are weak as piss. Plus, the public on a whole despise deros, especially ones in old clapped out holdens so I'm sure someone would have gotten out and given you a hand :-)
  15. Dont be afraid to use a Smith Machine if your gym has one. Easy way to safely up the weight, otherwise just ask a bloke to spot you. I would never say no and most people are pretty helpful.
  16. As the title states I have owned both. First was the SS only pipes and now the turbo with a heap of mods. If I had to start from scratch I would get the SS. I love my FG and they are a little less common than the VE but it just did it for me. The sound, the look and feel were all far better than my turbo IMHO. My T would completely smash an SS with the same level of mods but who really cares? What's the point of having an almost 600hp daily if you're never really going to make the most of it? Once again it's the SS for me. Wish I still had mine :-(
  17. Why do you need to do dumbbell decline? I know I'm going to get flamed here but I have taken dumbbell presses out completely and have had the best results just doing barbell and hammer strength presses.
  18. It's really basic mate and you really don't learn much from books. It's like most things the more you do it the better you get. I make my cooking really really simple more so for time saving. Get 3 heads of broccoli, cut then up and boil them until they are still firm but edible. While that's happening ill take 4 chicken breasts throw then in an over tray and cook on 180 for 15-20 mins. Once they are done ill let them cool slice them up and portion them I to my tubs with cooked broccoli. Then I just decide what flavour I want whether it be chilli, BBQ, Asian, plain, whatever. I actually love cooking and do some real fancy sh*t at times but mon-fri it's all about convenience and after almost 10 months of up to a kg of chicken a day I'm not sick of it yet.
  19. People still play MW3? I thought we all switched to BLOPS 2.
  20. I don't use straps but I find myself almost needing them for things like barbell and dumbell rows. I'm not the biggest guy and have a fairly sh*tty grip and find my weight is limited by what I can hold onto. For example I could probably do 40kg dumbell rows but stay around the 32-34 range as I can't keep a good grip in the heavy ones so I'm more focused on that and not on isolating the muscle. Adam I'm sure you being a bigger guy with "bigger hands" would find it much easier than most to grip a heavy bar. No pun intended. But I might give the chalk a go.
  21. With doing any exercise your form really is determined by your body type and structure so there is no real true form, what ever works!! I have been watching a lot of video Q&As on YouTube from pros like Dorian and Shawn Ray. Dorian makes mention to the fact that he never really did a lot of sqauts and focused on heavy leg presses or smith machine sqauts. Also said during his 6 year Olympia reign he never once used wide grip pull downs or chins. Some pros would swear by them then others (6 time mr Olympia) wouldn't touch the exercise. Once again the only true form is what suits you without being f*ckin stupid of course lol...
  22. From what I have heard its just sugar filled rubbish which is why it probably taste good. Most proteins taste ok these days but I wouldn't say they are overly enjoyable. I take Hyperwhey from Nutrabolics. All there stuff seems to suit me and they have a huge list of pros supporting their product so it's not a bad option. As for pre workout you need to try a few and get something that suits you. I have about 6 different ones atm and they are all ok but my favorite is either Swollen or C4. Both give me a lot of focus and stamina.
  23. Incline bench and flys are great for me. I don't do a lot of flat bench as I find it hammers my delts too much. I prefer a slight decline if anything.
  24. Another big cross for Ford customer service. Can you get a page or a thread devoted to good and bad service stories? Be interesting to hear some of the stories out there.
  25. Hahaha Pazzo you angry roid head!! I will Panda but it is a picture of Phil Heath, up the top it says IF GOD, bottom says WERE MORTAL. Its a meme that was produced using a pic during his 2012 Olympia prep. Insane thickness and symmetry. He is a true genetic freak.
