  1. Awesome thx mate. Forgive my ignorance but these are the questions I never really got to ask when buying my T and it kinda became painful when my T5 let go lol. Is it worth even getting the thing supercharged if im not aiming for massive power (450rwkw). Like I said im pretty happy with how fast my car is now. But can you get to that without being blown...
  2. Just starting to do some early shopping and you seem to be able to get BA GT's for around 23K.... This seems really low for such a car. Is there anything that the early BA GT's dont have that the later BF's do??

  4. Hey guys, Just starting to do some research into what it takes to have a blown V8 and what the pro/cons are compared to having a T.. So a couple of question... Can it be done with a stock engine and if so how far can they be pushed? Is there a difference between a GT and an XR8 that should mean the GT would be better for it?t What kind of kits are out there and how many extra mods, such as fuel and zorst are involved to make it all work? I have been a Expensive Daewoo man for as long as I can remember so I really dont know a great deal about Fords apart from my T of coarse. This is just a dream at the moment so I am actually just after a litle input as to how far one would need to go to have a tough blown 8. I am happy with the power my car makes so its not about that I think I am starting to get the V8 bug. Thanks guys!
  5. Does Muzz use any type of strengthened axel in his beast? The Nizpro items you broke are they the hand made wiz bang $4000 jobbys?? I would like to know a little more sorry mate as I have been looking at upgrading mine with something like what Nizpro offers.
  6. that's why I will only ever get my car serviced with a good work shop that has a lot of experience with dealing with cars such as ours. Even with the current power level I doubt Dave or Simon from Nizpro would enjoy thrashing the pants off my slug and if they did good luck to them as I know it will be in capable hands. Back in the day when I had my little evo, I heard of a guy that took his car to Donellans in Box Hills. He had a worked WRX. While waiting for tires he heard someone fly up the street in what he believed was his car. He ran into the work shop to and asked about it. The mechanic denied it so he looked at his little RSM and it told him that on the last drive his car was taken to 7000rpm. This story was posted on the MCCR forum and did a lot of damage to the shop so the owner came out made a statement and removed the mechanic from the business. lol at him...
  7. My T5 was doing the same thing before it blew. Its under heavy load, or planting it at low revs and asking it to build from there. It might not be that but like I said it sounds rather familiar to and old T5 owner. Hope you have some cash saved up

  9. I installed a Nizpro plenum for a 34rwkw increase (307-341). I used Plazmaman piping before hand from their 800hp kit.
