  1. I use Green Mag for my creatine. Seems to be going well but it's only been a month. Tomorrow will be 12 months since I first stepped into a gym and I'm pretty comfortable with my progress but it has been a lot if trial and error. Set a new goal for the next 12 months so ill see how I go!
  2. I was training as heavy as I could with legs but found that I was just stressing my joints and lower back. I dropped the weight by 40kg on my squat and leg press and focused on 15-20 reps and good contractions. I am getting better results and slowing lifting the weight back up to where I started before I had issues. Now all my soreness is in the muscle and not joints which is much healthier.
  3. It's a mish mash of rubbish parts so pat the old girl as she's held up beautifully. How much do you love it? If only a little, change springs and move it onto another owner who's up for a challenge. If you love it a lot, rip all that sh*t off, start again and turn it into a good reliable streater.
  4. Thank you good friend, you have just made my mind up... I had a PS3 but swapped to Xbox 360 as I pretty only play COD games and they are far better on an xbox. Xbox Live was a lot better than PS3 network. But those points listed above are too big ignore. Thanks again
  5. Shredded as f*ck too. Very impressive
  6. I think that sums up half the issues I see in the gym today lol. I'm the biggest I have ever been but I'm actually lifting less than what I did 6 months ago. I know how to lift more effectively now, so I hit the muscle correctly and create more damage, hence more growth. And that's not saying I'm big but I'm not much smaller than those guys if at all..
  7. My car has been doing this for about 3 years now. As well as blowing smoke, using about a litre of coolant a week, making a horrible knocking noise and running bone dry of oil twice... But she's still kicking! Get it checked ASAP or you will be in the position I'm in which is just waiting for it to grenade as I know it's going to cost me a fortune to fix whether I do it now or when it is in pieces all over the road. One thing though, these cars can be quite durable when they want to be!
  8. This girl stream a bit on Twitch.tv and really is a gamer. Not a good one but that's not why anyone watches her stream. Tara Babcock is her name!
  9. It's current model v current model so yeah apples with apples. Unfortunately the Ford is older. As for pricing I'm pretty sure they quote RRP and not some deal ya mate can give me if I go see him on the second Saturday in June. If market price is 41k for a new turbo ill look forward to seeing what the VF SS actually goes for. I paid 36K for a brand new for my old VE Bogan special when the RRP was 49k. Exciting!
  10. If I put on a kilo of muscle for every site I have visited with a new wonder drug I would be 200kg shredded... There's no trick or secret or short cut. Even if you were to juice you don't simply stick a needle in, sit on the couch and grow.
  11. What Johno said is spot on IMHO. Unions don't protect workers, they simply line their own pockets. (My experience hence my own opinion) Dags is also correct. A discount or salary sacrifice against a sh*te product that is already over priced isn't a discount at all. I purchased my T for close to 50k, completely stupid and regret doing it but my own fault. I drive away in an Bogan special ute for 36k brand new. Basically the same car but from different suppliers. Even at 36k that is a stupid amount of money for the type of of car let alone 50k. Making cars in this country, especially low quality, technologically challenged cars is simply too expensive.
  12. If the government put a stop to imports we would just be paying more for a sh*t product as there wouldnt be the same level of competition to drive value. Manufacturing as a whole in this country is finding it tough for a number of reasons. I do feel for all those Ford employees and the like who will lose their jobs and potentially a lot more but I'm not upset to see the Ford motor vehicle not being produced. This is due to my own experience dealing with Ford sales and service and comparing that to other car companies I have dealt with.
  13. I love doing legs... I'm doing a lot of volume and sh*t does it hurt... Took a full 5 days this week for all my soreness to go away. Wouldn't mind training them with you boys one day see how it's really done!
  14. Anybody taking any supplements worth mentioning, legal or not? Its something this thread hasnt covered in a while.
  15. Where do you train?
  16. It's going really well mate. I took your advice and coupled that with a lot of study and going by what my friends and family are saying it seems to be really paying off. Each week I see a new vein or extra separation. My legs have gone from being a weak point to one of my strongest. It's probably the biggest difference between me and every other mid sized gym junkie as you really don't see a lot of people working legs until failure. 6 months ago I remember struggling on leg press to push 2 plates each side for 1 set now I'm up to 7 each side for 12-15 x 3. Getting fit, building muscle, studying nutrition is by far the best thing that I have come across. I honestly can't imagine ever not being motivated to do this. But then again it's only been a year of hard work.
  17. I'm doing the same or have been the last 2 weeks. Want to try and drop down to 5-6%. I'm about 9-10 atm. Funny thing though is I'm eating as much now if not more than I ever have been but continue to get leaner and bigger. It really is 20% gym and 80% nutrition and rest. I love a cheat meal don't worry about that but eating clean is the way to go. Can't express how much better I feel day to day.
  18. The only person I have ever liked going to the gym with was my brother as he really pushes me. Otherwise I much prefer it alone.
  19. Yeah im thinking maybe I use them for my lunch. I dont really eat subway but a foot long costs you just the same. Or even a nice pack of sashimi is around $10-12. I eat 4-5 times a day with shakes making up at least 1-2 of those so if I factor in 1 of those meals it would be a good option!! its pretty much the same stuff I cook myself anyway but not having to look around at lunch time if I forget to cook would be a bonus. Its rather depressing how hard it is to get a good meal in the CBD with so much going on. BTW, does anyone on here go to Dohertys in Brunswick or Flinders St? They are both very close to either work or home but not too sure if I should sign up. I need a new gym as my current one is starting to get a little too crowded.
  20. I was in the same position about 12 months ago, well 12 months to the day as of Sunday. 92kg 5"10 around 23%. Now I'm at 83kg and about 11%. Completely changed my physical and mental well being, best thing I have ever done for myself... I started by using the Dukan diet. I only did it for a couple of months and that's all it took to kick start my new out look on fitness and nutrition. Next 12 months I'm hoping to nudge 90kg at around 6-7%. I might throw up some before and after pics. The change is quite dramatic..
  21. Never mind http://www.realfit.com.au/zuji/ Not too pricey unless you're eating 5-6 a day lol
  22. What do they cost and where do you get them nick?
  23. Dude it's the battery. There is about 6 billion posts on this site alone about the FG immobilising itself when the battery starts to die. Don't waste anymore time here go out get a new one and put it in and you will be ridgy didge! And if there are any other causes I'm sure there's not a lot you or anyone on this site could do to help. It's a simple fix and if it isn't then get it towed as you won't be able to fix it yourself.
  24. Could still be an issue
  25. That might be a hernia mate. Should get it checked out.
