Limp mode is much like what Bonjaz described. Well that's exactly what my car did when it went into Limp mode. Youre issue seems to be something different.

May I ask why old son?? There are a heap of PROVEN options out there that allow you to run massive HP from anyone of the many sponsors on this forum. If you get it for a deal then sell it to some boy racer with a GTR and use the coin to get yourself one that works..

Petty crime and burgs have gone through the roof in recent times, or so it seems. We are nailing a couple of blokes a day at my shop trying to rip us off and to be honest the cops seem very indifferent about it all. For example we had a guy try to rip us off a couple of days ago, but our LP officer was in the shop and nailed him. Gave him an absolute caning, the cops then came to pick him up and book him. The guy was back at our shop picking up his car 3 hours later. I know this because I approached the crook and who I thought was a cop searching his car. Ended up being the guys dad checking out all the stuff he had flogged from our others stores on the day... The cops didn't even follow him back to his car to check it!! Of course he had a car there why else would he have asked to be dropped off where he was caught?? And they way they treated him when they came to collect him... "you ok mate?'' .. "you hurt?" .. "you need a smoke??" I have no issue with police they help us a lot but recently it seems like its all too hard and these guys just keep coming back and its we as retailers that have to do all the work... We need harsher penalties for crimes like these.

And for that you get budget interior, crap sound system, cheap tires that cant handle the cars power, handling like a boat and the joys of such things like diff clunks, drive shafts that snap and a gear box that gives heavy shunts when changing under load. All of which are "normal" or "being addressed" if you ask Ford. I love my car but I wouldn't for a second consider a Ford over a BMW if price was never an issue. Even my brothers base 320 at 50k sh*ts all over my car in build quality and comfort. Buts that's not what I wanted in a car now was it ...

Mine doesnt have that low speed clunk youre talking about but it does have the high speed shunting gear change. Seems to only happen when in manual mode, for example cruising down the on ramp in 2nd floor it then into 3rd, shunt then into 4th but not as bad. I just assumed it was due to the power in putting through the thing as it didnt happen when the car stock and I used to cane the sh*t out of it when it was.

I had around the same mods HPF had my car running around 303rwkw, I took it to Nizpro and they got 341 out of it, this was in my old BA S1 T56 converted. You should at least 330+. It isnt always about the number but how it runs and how safe it is, but with such a low number it almost seems as though the person tuning had no clue therefor it might not be safe at all. Did you ask the question as to why it was low? What did they expect from the car or what did they lead you to expect?

I think she should be punished in some way but jail is not the answer. If it happen to be my son I would want blood of course but that's not going to help anyone and like I said she has to live with this as I would.

What would be a fitting punishment? She killed someone, she has to live with that. Yes she knows better and what she has done is unforgivable but im sure there are many factors taken into account when sentencing none of which have to do with her being a cop. If anything a jury would have been less forgiving. I know I would have been as like you said she knew better. We have all done the same thing maybe even a lot worse. What would be your opinion be if you were the one that hit them? I dont think I would deserve to go to prison even if I did make a mistake considering the amount of work I do for people in my everyday life. I agree Police do need some of their own justice from time to time but I would think this case is much more complex than just a case of a cop killing someone and getting of scott free..

I recently had the same issue but I threw buying a grey import into the mix and take it out to track days. I ended up going for a dirt bike and bought myself an 07 YZ250. Living in Melb there are a heap of tracks plus the thing only cost me around 7k with gear and maintenance on a 2 stroke is very minimal. I have a close mate that nearly sent himself and his racking business broke after he got into Karting as he simply couldn't let it go and as it has already been stated, it is a very expensive sport. If I had the coin to throw around I would do all 3, have a go mate its insane amount of fun!!

Well you didnt do enough research sorry to say. The 5 speed is a piece of sh*t and will bust even with very minimal mods even no mods at all. Like Worm has suggested, save your money and get a 6 speed conversion. Take it from someone who has had a 5 speed blow up on them its not a cheap fix. Mine at the time cost me 8k. Im sure it is cheaper these days but still a fair bit. Dont think though that you have bought a piece of junk, its still a great car and will serve you well but dont have to much confidence in that 5 speed or it will cost you plenty.

When you say you dont want to spend much mate how much are we talking? Converting an older Falcon like that into a good reliable turbo charged car will cost quite a bit even if you get half the parts for free!! Give you some advice, enjoy the car as much as you knowing that it wont be the last car you own, save up and get yourself a nice BA. They are going for SFA these days. But if you really want to know the costs involved talk to a sponsor or 2 in your area, It could be a fun job for someone but im sure after they quote it you will take our advice. Good luck!

you could close to 34999 for a new ute. I paid 38000ish for an auto with all the gear except the leather seats.

He has stated it was an 07 BF so I would guess it already had the strong gear inside... It shouldnt have blown, I would be hitting up your tuner. I wouldnt be happy if mine went under those circumstances. But then again, loading these cars up like you did seems to end in tears quite a fair bit. I would suggest go for a stock bottom end as a replacement. It should be good for well over 400rwkw. What power did you have before it blew? Your sig names mods and tuner that's all.
