"It cant be normal" "IT IS normal" Its a Ford... Its normal

Good work mate. I had the very same issue but it was my Bosch that went boom. It was making so much noise I couldnt hear my stereo until one day it didnt make any noise at all. Looking at your situation it could have been a stuffed in tank pump that could have made it fail but after replacing it, which was easy peasy, it was all good.

Its good to see you still hold some form of affection for your car. If I ever saw mine again I would f*cking burn it after the amount of hell it put me through over the years. I would own 3 houses by now if it wasn't for that car and the few before it! What kind of moron spends 20k on a 40k car then sells it for 15... This f*cking moron!!!

Compare Fuel Consumption On Modded Barra's
Wingnut replied to Jeremy's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
I live in the city and I think I got my old T to under 200 a tank. I was spending close to $400 a month. But I was also able to drive to Wang and back and basically 1 tank. Go figure!! -
Improvement on the current model considering reliability...

It seems like that oil slick is having you pay twice anyway mate. Terrible to hear you go through this, I think most people are recommending buying a new T and just swapping the bolt ons as it will cause you fewer headaches which Im sure you have already had plenty.

My brand new FG did the same thing as soon as I picked it up. Seems to be a common issue and I was never able to figure it out.

Why werent you insured?

Not the biggest fan of fake boobs but they did that tatted girl a world of good!

I should have been a little more descriptive like SDP but I'm not a troll mate. I was just trying to save you a lot of time and effort. I have an FG and it has squeaked in a handful of different places on and off since I bought it. Its something that will drive you insane if you let it. Every time I think I have figured one out another will pop up. Once again it comes down to the build quality of these cars which isn't first class.

Calling me stupid after asking why your Ford squeaks? lol
-
It's a ford. That's the reason it squeaks and makes noises. Will get worse before it gets better sorry chief, they are taxis with turbos.

I should have made my own thread but I didn't think it would have received much interest haha

That's exactly my point!! As soon as it started using coolant I knew it was going to cost a fortune so I didn't really consider fixing it until I had to haha I'm not a silly and I have always been so precious with my cars but I don't sweat the small stuff these days and considering I don't need a car to get around where I live I have neglected it. Drove it a bit over the last few days and it hasn't skipped a beat. I'm curious to know exactly what is wrong but that process alone is going to be expensive and time consuming so I'm not too troubled with it atm.

So I have the 2 most extreme experiences when changing the oil in my car. First time around 6 months ago I was getting a low oil pressure warning light so I thought I would drop the oil and see how it was. Not a single drop came out, NOT ONE DROP! When I removed the oil filter I found a heap of jet black sludge. After replacing it everything was fine for quite a while. I will add though my car has steadily been using coolant for the last couple of years (around 1lt a week possibly more) and I assumed it would have been rather terminal so I hadn't paid a lot of attention to it hoping it would blow and I would have an excuse to build it. A couple of months ago it once again was showing low oil pressure so I thought maybe the same thing happened and I topped it up. A few weeks ago now the car started running like a real pig and blowing a sh*t load of smoke. Im not exaggerating when I say I couldn't see an inch out of my rear window due to the thickness of the smoke. So I garaged it for the last month to decide what I was going to do and how far I was prepared to take the next build. Having the weekend off I thought I would have a play and see what I could find. I had the car sitting for almost 3 weeks straight and noticed a huge pool of oil underneath the left front corner so I suspected maybe my oil pump or a feed line of some sort. Feeling quite motivated I decided to change the oil and what I found shocked the living sh*t out of me... That is a picture of the oil I dropped from the car and I filled that tub another 3 times. In all I filled 3 x 5lt bottles and 3 x 1lt bottles with the dirty, gritty sh*t I dropped from my engine. All up it would have been close to 19lts.... How the f*ck does that even happen and how the hell is my car still alive? After putting new 5-30w (bought some cheap Castrol assuming it would go to waste) it runs better than I would have hoped for and doesn't seem to have lost much power if any at all. Turns out the pool of oil I found was overflow from the intake that had run into the air box and flowed out the small hole in the bottom. I know using coolant in the volume it has been is probably something terminal but the fact I have it back on the road a little longer make me very happy

Nah my guy is the complete opposite. He is writing me program's and meal plans. We are working off a Hypotrophy program ATM and it is completely smashing me... I have close to throwing up in the middle of the gym more times in the last 2 weeks than I have in the 12 months of training before it. I love it

I have started seeing a trainer over the last couple of weeks and holy sh*t it has been the best thing I have ever done. Ill probably only see him maybe once or twice a week and go the other 2 or 3 times myself but for those 45 mins I have with him I am in constant pain and struggle like I could never have imagined. He has dropped basically all my weights and in some cases almost a 1/4 of what I was doing but I am getting better workouts than I ever had in the 12 months that I had been going solo. He has also put together a great diet and has offered ongoing free consultation. Its not for everybody I know and it can be very hit and miss with who you end up with at times but I cannot speak highly enough of my experience so far. I would suggest anyone like me that has only been training for a year or so to go see a good trainer and get them to pick apart your form, diet, split ALL of what goes into training.

If you scroll up and down to compare the 2 it's actually quite funny. I love KFC and maccas and hungrys and basically any rubbish fast food joint and now that I'm fit I don't feel guilty eating it. But pics like that make me wonder why I do lol

Axle Tramp - Manual Xr6T Sedan - Warranty?
Wingnut replied to jik's topic in Suspension and Handling
I don't know if this is a troll thread or people are honestly suggesting axel tramp as warrantable defect... -
If I want a really good Parma ill make my own. I am honestly yet to find an establishment that can knock out a good Parma consistently. I'm very picky though as its such a simple dish it needs to be top shelf or it won't get a second look. That pic you posted loses huge marks already by having the generic and rather flavourless boiled veg on the side.... I obviously take my Parma very seriously...

Learn to use the ol Google bro. She's a winner! Or the search function. There's plenty out there.
