  1. Well done Dagabond, keep up the good work mate, top class.
  2. Looks great, black on black. Looking forward to the better pics!
  3. Hi Daniel, looks great, what type of rims are they and what size? Have the rims and tyres made much differnce to your ride? Thanks. Looking forward to pics of the body kit on.
  4. Found a pic for you from xr6turbonewbie in pics of members cars, shockwave blue with silver stripes, looks good, go take a look.
  5. Hi Matt, yes chrome would look spot on with that colour. How about a set of 20 inch Verde Madonna's chrome of course.
  6. $17,400 for a BF T is a bargain, well done, hope it all goes well. I looked at an ex chaser here in Sa it came over from NSW, 2007 model, with 60k on the clock, it was trashed and put me off, ended up buying an ex company T which looked like it had been looked after, no major problems so far.
  7. From my experiences so far with my Ford Dealer having a few little things fixed under warranty should have been quick and easy. Not even close my car came away with more problems then when it went in. I would ask for their technicians to be better trained and know how the car should be pulled apart and put back the correct way. My advice is to stay away if you can!
  8. Dark Agents are far better then the HP designs, good prices from Magwheels seen them on eBay, hope the quality is ok.
  9. $25K is about what you should pay for a BF with 40K on the clock. I bought mine a month ago and payed that. When I was looking noticed that not many are selling at the moment, the car I bought was in the yard for over a month cmae down from 29K when I first looked at it, some are still for sale and keep getting lower in price. Not easy car to sell only a small market place for them, pertrol prices don't help.
  10. Look at the size of the rear tyres. This is a drag car not designed for circle work, no wonder the thing tipped over!!!!!!!!!
  11. Hi, yeah this sort of thing happens all the time. When ever I take my car in I ask if they test drive the car I come with them. Haven't had any problems this way.
  12. Hi, yes these are popular wheels but they look great. What size tyres are you running on the rears any problems with clearances etc? No problems with grip now? Even with my stock car I have found grip an issue. Cheers
  13. Hi, looks the goods. Whats the ride like with your new lowered springs, how does it handle the bumps?
  14. Hi, great looking ute there you must be very happy with that. Will look even better with upgraded wheels. IMO 20inch Verde Madonna's in Chrome or Black would look killer, check out Tempe Tyres website for some inspiration. :banghead:
  15. Hi there, I am getting about 15L/100km but have seen it alot higher. I knew when I bought this car that fuel useage would be high but that's the price you pay for a large turbo charged motor.
  16. Grudgee, you are right I am a bit of a sook, just didn't expect the car to be pulled to bits for something so simple. The mechanic working on the car didn't even know that you could turn the siren off on the alarm and had shoved a hole heap of rags on the sirewn to stop the noise when he diconnected the battery? WTF. Anyway I not going to go on any more about this. Moving on I am enjoying my new car and am looking forward to clocking up some Kms - Cheers.
  17. Hi all. I've only had my 06 BF XR6T for a few weeks. I took it in to my Ford Dealer to have the A Pillar Trim fixed as it would not stay on. When I went to open my Glovebox to get my owners manual out it broke on the right hand side plastic that holds it in place. Ford did not have either off the parts in stock so I went back a few days later to have it fixed. I allowed 2.5 hrs for them to do the job. The A pillar trim was replaced in 5 minutes but to fix the glove box the hole dash had to be removed?? It is held on by a small piece of plastic which is part of the dash. The size of the replacement part was half the bloody dash. I had to get them to give me a loan car as they were still pulling it apart after 2.5 hrs. I am picking the car up tomorrow. Please be careful with your glovebox, as it is a huge job to replace the plastic that holds it on.
