    Yeah love the new power alrite. Today it is cloudy but the roads have dried up. I think it's time to buy shares in a tyre company lol. Couldn't be happier with it. The arse end is light as even with traction control on. Power comes on hard and just stays there. Love it What is next on your mod list benny?
  2. Hey guys, Had my ute custom tuned today and am very happy with the result. Jaimie from 6boost did the tuning. Boost comes on hard as now.

  12. Yeah I'm getting my tune done once I have the spare cash to replace the tailshaft when needed My ute is july build and have the 2 piece tailshaft I'mnot expecting it to last long lol. Thank to the mods I've spoken to a fellow forum member about this subject before and his sedan is tuned. I think the tailshaft will last a bit longer if you dont launch on boost
  13. If SCATRD's ute was built last year it'll have a 2 piece tailshaft and I've heard of them breaking easily once lowered. I should have asked that question in my post.

  15. I'd get it definately as long as it's restorable I'd pay 20k for it. Once you have restored it, It will only gain value

    The casting number on the heads is 243, Mate bought the LS2 block and heads as a package from a performance shop in townsville. He sold the electronic throttle body becase he didn't want the brrrr once he lets throttle off. So the intake and throttle body is off the original LS1.
  17. Most ford dealers seem to be the same. The dealership I bought my fg t ute from shafted me straight away. Took it in for the 3000k service. Asked them to fix the rattle in the door and adjust hardlid to stop it from rattling. They said the door was fine and the hardlid wasn't thier problem? I said fark off, U deekheads fitted it. It would be good if they had like a cost price on a falcon, Say an xr6 turbo and buy it for less with no warranty ect. For people who are going to mod it anyway. Because who would take thier new falcon to a ford dealer if the didn't have too???

  19. Yeah I'm sure capa would have what ever is needed or required to get the best out of a flash tuner to get the best results. I'm tuning a xrt for the first time and am just curious. I have had a tuner tell me that they don't use the flash tuners as the VCM suite they use is a lot better and opens more parameters. I asked them what like? And they started to repeat themselves. They wanted to charge more for a vcm tune than what some other tuners charge to get an x3 flasher box with 3 custom tunes.

  21. Is the 307rwkw with stock injectors? Thought they max out around 260rwkw? I did read an old thread from the sniper site and some guy said he was getting more power than ppl using other flah tuners?????
  22. Hey guy's I was on ebay before and found Sniper Flash Tuners. Am just curious as to who has used one. Are there any tuners in brisbane who use them?
  23. Does this mean there will be a recall? I have the backlash when I let off I have a 6speed auto. And am starting to get some give in driveline, Say when I'm rolling in drive and then give it some throttle. I'm sure as sh*t it's the 2 piece tailshaft. But I'm wrong ford told me it was just the spare wheel? I've always had the backlash but the issue with the tailshaft is say 2000k's old. I now have 26000k's
