this is wat my setup is after adding the K&Nfilter and the Monxa filter the flutter it kinda louder but not loud enough to here from outside...... mite change it bak soon annoying me the sound is a bit but cant reconise performance change. does seem slightly longer for boost but I dont mind..... I havent blocked the vac line should I?

did this cheap mod on sunday. I blocked off the smaller pipe of the crossover and so far blocked the other side on the BOV with a chair stopper thingy with a 5mm hole in it... ill be replacing this with a Monza filter I bought today. I also reconnected the smaller hose (vac hose?) should I plug this up with a screw as well? so far I get some tut tut tut tut after spooling up but it so faint and can only here it when windows up and audio off. I have also notice a slight bit more turbo lag but just enough to notice. My car is stock all way but I am purchasing a K & N filter this week. Am I doing anything wrong? hope someone can help cheers

yeh mite add straight pipes instead... Would they stock pipes at exhauist shops?

hi guys I would like to know what ive done to my cars auto transmission... its a 2003 XR6 Turbo auto 4spd no mods at all with 106,000 on the clock. other night was driving and slowed rite down... took off quickly and heard a cranking sound in the engine bay... I had no acceleration at all... the car stopped and I had it in drive and wasnt going no where... Turned it off for 5 mins thinking a computer prob. Started it up alrite but same thing the car couldnt move, then tryed reverse and no luck. I checked under the car and there was a puddle of transmission fluid. I noticed it was bad. towed it back home and its been sitting at the mechanics for the last 3 days and they havent got time to check it out and probally gortta wait till this monday or tuesday.... sounds like a blown gear box is this true if so what would be the repair bill. hope someone can help cheers

I dont know if car under warranty I dont think so..... how much would it cost?

hi guys ive got the same problem with my BA 2003 xr6 turbo.... But seems bad the light turns on when I start the engine it make a loud rumble sound and u cant accelerate and seems like its bout to stall but it doesn't.... it sounds bad so I turn the car off and it 100% better, I havent notice any lack of performance or anything like that its just doesnt sound and feel good like some help cheers
