  1. ok guys heres whats happen. sat down had something to eat tryed again and wooolaaa it worked came up with something with stock then some data thing and finally said engine a% and dont unplug after that it all uploaded but my problem now is car wont start,,, I hear a click click click real loud, What should I do?

  3. sorta has a CAPA ford flash device hard base sticker on it so I cant see what it is :( im guessing its under that. there is a barcode on the back

  5. well when I plug it in with key off, it has some writing and then SCT and a cheerfull tone. come to main menu I choose program vechile with the little car picture. then I choose the custom tune menu. it then say options and stuff and then 8psi 96oct or 98 10psi I chose 8psi and then it says to comfirm this setting, which I do. Does that sound right? cause next the key on message appears

  9. I did press select few time and nothing came up on the screen. it didnt changed after a half hour so I canceled. and came up (error error) did not load. o yeh all it came with was the tuner, a cd for sct, and a badge thing. and I couldnt find the instructions on the cd too
  10. ignition of coarse over to the II or 2, it said it should of come with a USB cable but it didnt will that be the problem?
  11. yeh did that its all working ok in power, its just keeps saying 'turn key on dont turn engine on' after I have accepted 8psi 96octane weird?
  12. hey all just got my X3 flash tuner from CAPA and I think something is wrong. I start it up go to program vechile, then custom tune and then 8psi boost option so on so on. come to the option where it says 'turn key to on do not start engine' Ok the problem I turn it to on and its still saying the same message after 10mins, I dont think its working so I canceled it did it again and didnt work any ideas. is this what it says thru the whole tuning process I need urgent help !!!!! cheers
  13. Thanks Kaine, Did that f6 CAI setup yesterday and sorta notice a difference, made it alot easier with pics and measurements. cheers Tommo.

  15. True that haha ya mite as well save some mmoney and head down... What places down Perth are reasonable? might get a few and maybe get a quote on a few and work out from there so I dont have to go for long... Prefer South of the river since I got mates who live in Armadale way.. also prices probaly range depending on what I want done doesnt it..What nifty's doing sounds ideal. cheers,
  16. well dont know we had like a 36-38 degree day and this was about 9pm it could have been 30 degrees some what. also thanks for the tips nifty, PHANTMXR6, Dirty32. I might save up a few thousand drive south and get it all done at once, ill just have to be patience leaving it all stock cheers How much was it gonna cost you Nifty at BPT for that?
  17. yeh cant realy closest dyno would prob be north Perth which is like a 2000km drive from me I might get new injectors and a Flash tuner I reckon, Also I noticed last night that my 0-100km time (testing on a 110km road) has increase by a second after its service yesterday any reasons why maybe? I couldnt get it hit below 7.4secs !weird! any ideas will be good cheers!
  18. hi guys, im interested modding my car and buying a C.A.P.A. flash tuner, do you need to get it custom tune before or afterwards? Is there anything else I need to do to run on more boost. eg.. injectors, tune? my car is completely stock with a K &N filter note: theres no tuner where I live... also is this the best first step to modding a car or are there better choices.. hope some1 can help.... cheers..
  19. will do and I do alot of conutry drving dont wanna be stuck half way between two towns 200km away..... ANYWAY I have my car back havent paid a cent yet!!...... I havent driven it yet. Ford is Still waiting for the parts and wont be hear till friday morning and I gotta drop it off to them. so they said its right to drive around till then. But I still noticed leaking under the car right now just not as much. gonna take it for a ride tomoz since I got day off see if its right. but Ford did say it was right to drive it so yeh I will.
  20. yeh I had this happen too.. the pipe of the crossover to the intercooler came off wasnt even on tight after getting it back from Mechanics after transmission probs.... but I notice it. sound so badly had too pull over lucky I was 200m away from home got a screwdriver fixed it.
  21. ok.... my car been at the local ford dealer for last 2 days.... they said they had to order some seals and gasket from Perth so it can take 3 days to get here... all they need to work out is whos paying for it? does this sounds expensive? Car didnt drive good getting there only 2kms away, (struggled) sorta.. o well when I get it back hopefully wont cost a arm and a leg ill be tinting away
  22. well when my trans went they reconstructed the transmission that's what ford said.was gonna cost me bout $6k but some waranty only cost me just over $1k. and since ive had it bak I havent realy pushed it hard too scared might do something wrong though this has happen.

  24. alright my problem is when I drive my car for a while and park it up LOTS of red oil is leaking under the car coming off the exhaust and is burning the tin heat sheild. been like this for a week till I looked how bad it was last night. is this diff oil or transmission oil. its a 4sp auto too. I dont wanna drive it incase I make it worse but tommorow ill drop it of at the local Ford dealer. only just got my car back 4 weeks ago from when the trans totaly went and cost $$$$ bit also notice when driving the car slowing down for a corner or roundabout it revs quite high up to 3 and a half thousand rpm and then backs off. I dont know if this is part a problem with the trans but it a pain when u driving normally and next second its high reving and for no reason..... Hope some one can help give me ideas what I can do cheers Tommo
