The falcon ecu can cope fine its not dumb it knows to re adjust the A/F I have done testing alot of it on E85 not lab testing just real testing. I have motor bikes everything running it little honda mowers 20b rotor the list goes on. I did and you can run e85 with no probs on a FG xr6t it readjust the A/f fine. After lots of dyno runs we found 15kw atw increase NO TUNE Not until my drive home I noticed the engine light comes on. Works out that on the highway because ethanol burns COOLER it trips the o2 sensor. Easy FIX Now its tuned with 660cc injectors stock fuel pump etc and I get a consistant 320kw atw and 885nm Oh but hears the thing you can get good economy. highway driving ON speed limit which I find hard to do you can get around 9-11L/100km and around town my average is normally 17.5L/100km (I love booting it) though when trying it out on M2 + city traffic I kept it at 13L/ 100km Oh by the way there is section on flex fuel in the ECU its disabled and has no tables OH OH OH I have now done 24000 k's its great keeping a tank in the ute and never giving the oil f*ckS any cash

Hey Well yesterday I smelt some smoke and saw it coming from around the centre console and when I stopped quickly at some FARKING STUPID red light the etc fault code came on and the car felt like it had a ls1 in it then re started it and it was fine. Whats the etc fault and any one seen problems with the wriring in the FG ?

No its not more than petrol WRONG Well petrol should be less than 20c a litre because we are helping these big companies get rid of there toxic waist from making sh*tty plastics etc . anyway If we make it from the correct crops its works out alot cheaper. corn 200-400gallons a acre a year hemp 4500 gallons an acres a year sugar cane 1000-1200 sugar beats 1200 + cumbungy grass thypha or cattails 2500 + gallons an acre a year oh grain is pretty damn low too not sure but its less than sugarcane less than corn.

its funny how Enhance ethanol had two servos in western Sydney with e85. And the ACCC sh*t them down ah the same people who are keeping trading fair etc etc? Stops the only thing up against megaoilron

I get good economy and the reason you can go so lean is the octane and the 6 doesnt have much compression this fuel wants compression to have to work at its Stoich 9.8:1 or some sh*t. Guys read and learn about it before you judge. haha

Hey guys Ok been playing around more with e85 this weekend. FG xr6t been running on it for a good 10,00k now all is good Threw a sh*t load more timing into it everywhere and more boost And now am getting 13l/100km full sydney traffic dont have to rev it past 2k each gear change and you still go quicker than traffic. and highway I have been about 9l/100km Its all bullsh*t about running 30% more you can run lean as on cruise as the turbo motor is low comp. a/f is 13:1 to 16:1 in some spots with no heat problems etc etc etc if the motor had 13:1 comp and turbo then you would have to run around the 9.8:1 Anyways is anyone else on here running it yet ??? Oh sitting in the m5 tunnel made me just make another topic on e85 as that tunel would cause alot less cancer if we all used ethanol. Respect e85

OK the Oil companies must of f*cked you in the arse haha what your going on about is all a lie I have had my 4wd running it for over a year and yes the fuel filter clogs heaps cause it was cleaning the wax deposits left by petrol

With the snipper and mower I had no petrol so it was easier to drill the jets out approx 215 -20 % runs fine

Oh as for having an empty tank before switching to the 98 tune. My fg (NO TUNE ) runs on up to e75 at the correct A/f ratios and makes awesome power at e85 it goes may to rich for e85 even
