  1. Love that GTE!! Congratulations to all that have worked on it!! Yeah got me thinking of how well our R Spec would respond to the upgrades... Just gotta run it pass the woman/ bank manager. I'm out at Redland Bay so if ya organise anything and don't mind a gatecrasher count me in!
  2. Yep Definitely the LV's the better model although the earlier models were great! Had our XR5 for 2 years and no probs!!

  5. Cheers mate... I'm out in Redlands area!! I spun out ya got ya plates... Very Nice!!
  6. Yeah love it!! I'll have to chuck photos up of mine too!! I actually took mine for a spin out Chinchilla way on Sunday...was sh*tting bricks due to B Doubles etc (had to get to work...didn't want to get blown off the road with the bike and the XR5 was in the shop getting work done to it...). What a way to run it in!!! Was an awesome cruise out there. Normally would have music blaring but no substitute for the sound of that motor. I can honestly tell ya it will be the last time I take that trip out in the R Spec but was a brilliant experience and happy to report not a mark or stone chip on it!! Phew.... Yes the Suspension is tighter, the acceleration with the 275's is noticeable especially out of corners, roundabouts etc. Hopefully will end up being a nice piece of Ford history and now will be resting up in the garage at home ready for a cruise.....any takers for a pre-xmas cruise??? lol
  7. Got back to Brisbane no worries in the little Nissan. Got back home. took 2 hours to peel the Dealership sticker off the back off the GT (f*ck free advertising). Got the Windows tinted, Personal Plates arrived and had the meanest drive.. After driving from Logan to Murrumba Downs back through the city to the dealership then back to mums in Logan, Used just over a 1/4 of a tank.. The GT sounds absolutely awesome and had every man and his dog wanting to race...Yeah right!!! Upgrade to 450KW...

  8. Yep get it!!!, Great Price..you won't find another MkII GTE for that price!!! Pounce on it big time!!! lol
  9. Yeah curious how the car is going tranny?? Pick my R spec up on monday. Still hasn't sunk in yet!!!
  10. Wanted to take the bike out for a blat today!

  11. That looks bloody awesome!! Don't give me ideas!!! hahaha. Brilliant!!! :newrussian:
  12. Hey mate.. Sounds like an awesome setup. I have placed a thread on here about this exact subject.(I have put photos up in one of my posts. My system has been cranking now for almost 7 mths in my ute. I went with the stock ICC with the Audison Bit ten Sound Field Processor.. Done my research, used all quality equipment (2 Kicker Amps, 2 x 12" Kicker Subs, Focal Splits in Doors and A Pillars, and Focal Coaxials in the rear) and it still wants to rearrange my insides every time I jump in the car (and crystal clear sound). Obviously the Aftermarket headunit is an option however I can honestly say It can be done!! I done it all myself in my own garage so it ain't gonna win comps for installation (was not my objective), just wanted a tidy install that cranked. If ya have any queries for your own research feel free to drop me a line. Cheers Tim
  13. At home with a Cold....nice!!! Was supposed to be at the Broncos/ Warriors match. Ah well at home so time to jump on the drums and sweat this sh*t out of the system!!! George Benson coming right up!! lol

  14. Had a mean sleep in. Time to polish the bike and might head up to Noosa for a cruise!!!

  15. Hey mate, I fitted the Audison Bit Ten Sound field processor to my FG ute, with Kicker 200.4 amp powering Focal splits in front and Focal coaxials in rear, and Kicker 750.1 Mono Block powering 2x12" Comp Kicker subs. I fitted the whole system myself and just made sure I had the best possible earthing and shortest route to body of the car, set gains low. I do get a very minor hiss at low volume but not that noticeable and it absolutely cranks with the volume up! The bluetooth operates like normal too. I'm not sure how the Alpine unit goes but I was well aware of the factory ICC noise issues and was tossing up between the Alpine and the Audison unit and only chose the audison unit as it was there and had good reviews and info on youtube.
