  4. well yeah worse case ill strip it back to standard and sell it for 32ish. it is on the high side but has huge money spent. probably better off to strip and sell... I.e. injectors 2k alone I thought his power was on roo16?
  5. probably around 55ish. my engine has made 973rwhp previously, just needs the bigger turbo to do so. plus I got stereo etc which he doesnt have, however he has 3 speed so end of day same/same as to money spent of mods. both of our cars are well over the 100k mark... not sure if he has the 6p/4p brembos. mine has about 30,000 as well

  7. asif dealers shouldnt refuse test drives lol theres a performance shop in wangara that sells all sorts of bends ill have a look I got invoice with all my car receipts.. scary place to look IMO though
  8. no trophys. seems they were just as rigged as miss mv. just lovell springs and shocks. the sound off / stereo install was hosted by alberts... there was "alberts" table with customers sitting at table with them... guess where all the trophys ended up???

  10. I think the AD 08 arnt correct load rating iirc yeah 300 china tyres + 100kg stereo gear in back = win for traction lol not sure about cruise depends what happens with pits and sh*t oh just realised its a saturday, I work till 1

  12. I am just wondering if anyone knows what happens if a tyre is not fitted correct or is damaged while being removed/refitted? Is the tyre shop liable for damaging a bead? I.e. I bought a brand new tyre which was a couple weeks ago... got it fitted. scrached a rim, got it removed while getting fixed and then got it refitted. that night I drove home and put it on my car, drove as far as 1km to servo to find my rim sitting inside tyre. mikey was nice enough to help us out with one of his spares took it there in morning they are not taking liability and say anything could have happened...??? how else can inside the tyre where bead is get damaged other than crobar remove/refit?

  14. took me few months orignally. it should technically be smooth sailing going over pits but who knows the might pick something up....
  15. highlight was the cops camping outside giving yellows like it was going out of fashion I got one for having no tyre placard(well do but its in glovebox), he said should be inside door and I opened box and pointed to it, he didnt care and having a blow off valve which I asked him to point it, was actually a WRX which was infront of me didnt even care for permits either, not worth the paper they are written on......

  18. Motor was fine. As I did the turbo upgrade I bought a built motor for safety. Turbo for 405 was a fg f6 one. Markey I don't beleive the turbo rdp used was not a f6 spec one, they use a compressor wheel from the gt30 turbo for quicker spool up. Down side of that was they had to jam heaps of boost to make the desired power I.e 23+. much more sensible to go with f6 spec, max power and slightly laggier by a few hundred rpm. Don't know where you got 20psi from, regardless I got more power with less boost which overall IMO will be safer option. But then again if your looking at goin to my level no point upgrading to a f6 spec coz it's 2k wasted $$$ which is same price of a gt40. Better options for turbo have been released since I've done my testing, don't know how they will work out but surely they are the best option. Forced peformance hagt3782r or Garrett gtx3582r would have best power output with faster spool than even imaginable, better than anything done before
  19. imo spend money on better motor parts first before going big turbo. turbo can always be done down the track, redoing motor all the time would be hassle. also might be worth looking at the GTX35
  20. I had 405 with standard and 15 pounds. Probably 450ish with more boost, but I'm not one to risk...
