Polished the face and painted inserts EDGE... Thoughts?? Wanted something different since last time I got them fixed through alliance, the machining made the paint crack in several spots and wasn't impressed despite still having to pay through the nose for them!!! The other option I was considering was getting the jap wheels Matt was selling, but want to keep the sleeper/stock look...

yeah, mine is euro iv and has all the good mk2 parts. which means I could max the smaller compressor wheel with stock intake and exhaust on e85(360rwkw) lol if I get late 20s ill move it, otherwise ill strip mods and trade in... slap the mods on new one :D

I've been on e85 for about 12 months now... Normally getting around 280-300km per tank... Last fill up it showed a high as 480 range - I thought surely cant be right - maybe filled up to much it's now showing with a little over half a tank - 250km left... I would have around 140-150 normally at half a tank... could this be a faulty sensor(e85 effects...???) or the way out for the intank pump?? - computer miscalculation?? - avg economy is at 23l so that would avg at best ~320km to a tank

hmm maybe they will retire the 2.5 litre from the STI also for something better then since it's two years away... because currently the WRX FA-20 seems faster than the more powerful sti 2.5 due to the newer technology in the engine of the WRX but then again the price tag would be close to a STI.... and is this allowed within the agreement they made when they collaborated to make the car?

^ same reason why they don't put the FA-20 turbo engine in it....

mines MK1 but end of mk1 so pretty much all mk2 parts

He's after a stock one now... We did have a discussion.. Yes this is maxed out the baby turbo on all tunes (98, 100 and e85) Funny thing is, achieved without any exhaust mods... it has the fg series 2 exhaust on it with the big cat :O

From what I have read around the forums, I am sure It would be out of it's efficiency zone. with the 76 series the more boost you try cram in low the less you will have in the top. On the GT version they max out at 357rwkw (E85) with ~ 17/18psi with 12/13 in the top. Those who tried to smash 20+ found they dropped further psi in top I.e. 8/9psi or worse. I would say the ratio for which your boost drops would be about right considering its the GTX version. Still a good result though, mid range looks fun with that much torque.
