  1. If you run 22's rear and 20's front, I'm guessing there is an overall diameter difference which would affect the ABS? Correct me if I'm wrong.
  2. I've been looking at putting 22's on my FG XRT ute and I'm pretty sure even 8.5wide will not clear the top of the suspension as the 19's are nearly touching. The only way I can see them fitting is if you get 3/4 to 1 inch taken off the back of the rim to make it about 7.75 or 7.5 inches wide. I hope someone can get the 8.5's to fit though, would be very interested to find out how.
  3. sounds like the sensible option to me, those shim gaskets dont leak. If the head gasket was leaking or the head was cracked there would be water in the oil.
  4. Unfortunately, no. Have been meaning to pipe mine down under the manifold somewhere where it cant be seen but have a case of the cant be f@%ked's.
  5. Haha, I've tried heaps of times to record the BOV and the exhaust, but the N95 has really crap sound.
  6. If it is plumbed back and not venting to the atmosphere then it would be very hard to tell if it is opening properly or not. I'm positive it says in the Turbosmart fitting instructions that the Bosch valve works back to front and the Turbosmart valve should be fitted in the opposite direction to the Bosch.
  7. Hi guys havent been on here for a while. Not picking, but phantoms BOV is mounted back to front, as the stock BOV works the opposite to the Turbosmart. The boost is pushing on the side of the BOV piston when it should be pushing on the bottom of the piston. The BOV needs vacuum on top of the piston and pressure (boost) on the bottom to allow the piston to overcome the spring pressure. I originally had mine setup to plumback and vent to atmo, but now it is full atmo. As mine is the 6Auto I only purchased the Turbosmart valve to replace the stock as I heard the stock is prone to leaking. But it does sound good when I back off.
  8. Do the FPV gauges light up blue the same as the xr6t ones?
  9. Looking at getting some gauges, boost, oil press, water temp, most likely will be autometer cobalts. Where is the best/cheapest place to purchase these? And what sort of dollars should I be looking at?
  10. Is there any gauge holders out for the FG yet? That arent home made.
  11. Sorry guys, no joy with the sound clips yet. for some reason my n95 sounds sh*t in video mode.
  12. Hardly any noise in the cab unless I really get under it. really loud outside though. I'm guessing the middle muffler is virtually straight through with just a one-into-two setup, for the size of the box it hardly stops any noise.
  13. Yep def 3.5" or 89mm is what I measured them at. Sounds mean at full throttle, I'll try and get a vid from in the car, get the exhaust and blowoff aswell.
  14. Removed the rear muffler on the FGT ute last week and replaced it with 2x2.5" straight thru pipes and 2x3.5" angle cut tips. Looks good, sounds good. Got a pic but am having trouble getting a vid or sound clip as it just sounds bad on my phone. I'll keep trying though. If you have a FGT ute and want some noise I def recommend it.
  15. No vid at this stage. Have tried from in the ute but the vid wont pick up the sound. It is loud though.
