Recently made a few changes to the car. Now running a gtx4202 turbo, 6boost manifold, 60mm external gate, jonny tig 1800hp intercooler, walbro 460, surge tank with twin 044s, fpr1200, billet rail, 2000cc injectors, 4" into 3.5" exhaust, valve springs and billet oil pump gears. Car made 495rwkw on e85 with a 2 speed powerglide. Tuned by Dyno-Mite Performance. Previously had a 3582 with 66mm wheel, 0.7 cover and 44mm external gate. Made 430rwkw and ran 10.36@134mph. Sometime within the year I'll head out to the track and see how it all goes ?

I had the facotry 3582 high flowed with a 66mm wheel (to4z internals) and it was a pretty good combo on the street/strip. Power came on pretty strong and didnt feel all that laggy either. Ran it at the track with 430rwkw and ran 10.3@134mph

I guess theres too much involved in putting a zf in a ba which is probably why you dont see many at all

adds up if you include convertor, tailshaft etc

Has a 2speed powerglide and has run a best of 10.3@134mph.

Not sure with 3.9's. Mine sits at 3000rpm at 100 with 3.46

You'll be able to get some decent money for your manual setup which will help cover cost. Personally id go between t400 or glide. Give some places a call and have a chat. Allow around the 10k mark for the conversion depending which way you go.

powerglides are not as bad as ppl say they are on the street. Ive put a glide in mine and its the best thing ive done to the car and its awesome to drive on the street. Best thing to do is try go for a drive and both than decide which you prefer. Either way cant go wrong with a t400 or glide.

How are the gtx4202 on a manual, laggy or pretty good? Anyone on here running one?
