I reakon they look alright but would be better if they were bigger and maybe lower your car

Its not to hard mate check out some of the threads on here there are a couple of good wrriteups that really helped me (there are a couple of photos in my album of my install that might help although I didnt get AFR)

stainless will sound different to mild steel slightly some people will say different but it does (different resonation) shouldnt be any difference between brands if the bends are in the same place in the system I had a full "mandrel" bent on my EB fairmont including strakkies but then my mate welded a stainless exhaust out of 316 stainless with proper manufactured bends (extruded from factory not bent) and it sounded heaps different exhausts are like a lot of things though they are all relative what you think sounds good your mate will think sounds droney and sh*ty

yeh its amazing to think that when they first come out car dealers (in wa at least) were willing to give you more than you paid new to get one as they couldnt keep up with new car orders (goes for the n/a too) ah well I bought mine as a long term thrill not a short term trade car that's what the family car is for

yes you could polish it but it would take a fair but if work you will need to wet and dry it in stages (rough to fine) before giving it a polish I would consider going to a polisher but not sure how much they would charge if you want a polished cooler and dont wanna spend the bucks on a Plazmaman/Rapid etc.. consider a monza or similar im pretty sure they would flow about the same as the F6 one (or more) and they already polished and yes they are easy to fit bluute

Should be on or abouts the 1k mark just make sure whoever you go through has insurance on the car while travelling door to door

Champ you have an xr 6 turbo not an xr 8 the two are never gonna sound the same if you ar after a "burble" you should consider "hot dogs" or "resonators" in place of your centre muffler instead if just straight through pipe and yes a better rear muff and cat will help that is a cheaper way of doing it but take it from experience I would get a decent full exhaust first time round I wish I did I will eventually but it will prob mean a re-tune and more $$$ I know its tempting mate but hang on that little while longer and put some more sheckles away and get the good gear first time you wont regrett it cheers scotty

you will want to do the cat before you get your tune done mate if you replace it afterwords you will need a re-tune I would throw a better intercooler on your list if you only want 250-70rwkw's then a wog/monza/ebay one will do the job but trust me when I say once the power bug hits you wont be able to stop so consider saving a little more and get an intercooler kit from Rapid/Process West/plazmaman the all do good kits at resonable prices (stage 2's around $1900 bucks) your gonna love the power mate have fun

yeh mate easy to do the instructions in the how to guide were a big help I did mine, oil temp/oil press/boost all in a day ive got a couple of saps in my photo albe you can check out also good luck

just a guess but I would say your tune should sort it out you now have a whole lot of airflow with the exhaust mods and intercooler and the ubp will suck in more cool fresh air than your dose set up would have just be carefull how you drive your prime for overboost oh love the rims too looks sweet man

howdy just wandering if anyone out there does pre made braided line kits for our cars or if you have to piece them together yourself also anyone with an engine bay full of braided lines how much does it cost approx? cheers

It can be removed mate same as paint etc.. read the back of the can it has clean-up instructions When you do it you only spray ONE light coat at a time let it touch dry then the next coat it will be impossible to get runs if you do this if the lenses aint coming off easily then turn up the oven temp a little the glue will soften always do it coat by coat putting the lense back on the housing temporarily with tape and slotting it back into the car to check the darkness is advisable too so you get it right the first time

try sticking to the SPEED LIMITS mate and those worries will disapear

they shouldnt mate just be gentle you shold feel whats going on it take as little bit but they come out ok just make sure you remove the lenses and tint the inside mate you will get a much better result that you wont need to maintain ie: buffing/re-spray etc
