You can now get a free version that only does the 0-100 and 1/4 mile. I havent had a chance to use it yet. It does have a function to calibrate the sensor in the phone so I think it has a chance to be fairly accurate.

If your old cars had transverse engine the angle of the oil wouldnt make a difference. Do you know what oil your car is running? Maybe a different oil at the next change could make a difference.

Just got my car back from Ford where they replaced the HIM. It said it was a recall on the receipt and I asked the service guy and he said it was a recall only if it broke. Aparently the new part is an improved version which is what makes it a recall. My car wasn't blowing out the dash vents. -
Had my stock (both power and brakes) Fg's brakes smoking last weekend. I found at about 80% braking they were ok but they went away pretty quick at 100% braking. I was surprised by the amount of smoke they produced. How much were the rotors and pads Rocka?

My car is having an AC problem but it is different to the original one described. The dash vents in my Fg is not pumping out any air. I have cycled through the vent controls. When it it is ment to be blowing out the dash it comes out of the windscreen vents and also out of the rear seat vents. My car only haas single zone AC It did it briefly a week or two ago for a day but then it fixed itself. It doesnt seem to be fixing itself this time. I guess it will have to go back to Ford.

Does anyone know any manufacturers who make after market head units that have a digital tuner ie DAB+ ? A quick Google didn't turn up any results.

Went to the local dealer yesterday and was prety dissapointed in the 50th aniversary. The wheels on the turbo look realy crap. A mate commeted that they look wheels off Tempe Tyres. the badging looks like it says X250. And the side indicator stands out and looks crap. Also couldnt option the additional side curtain airbag.

Great win by Audi. Watched a few hours at the end and was surprised by the amount of action. Crashes, break downs and flat tyres.

I have the Hitachi http://www.hitachi-powertools.com.au/productdetails.aspx?Product=WR18DL(HD) does a pretty good job. Thou it wouldnt undo the wheels the other weekend, Not sure how tight they were done up from the tyre place. Also wouldnt undo the brake caliper. Unsure on battery charge. Possibly half charged. Has done other cars easily. Once the bolts were cracked with the breaker bar its handy to get the wheels nuts done quickly. Also usefull for getting the scissor lift up and down real quick.

How did they let a V8 Late model camira in. I thought they were rules against 8 cylinders. It was stupid that they also stoped Porsches from entering by banning rear engined cars. Would have been good to see their lap times. Were they afraid they might be faster? I am impressed by the lotus' times. Would like to see that car run.

Mark is dominating them. They also said Red Bull is getting a big update to their cars for the next round which should keep them on top. Maybe they will get the F duct to help them with their top speed.

Update. After pulling off the cross over pipes found out my car had blown off th line after the PCV. Replaced line and refitted pipes. Car start and ran as per usual. Drove car to work. Tried to start car after about 3 hours andit backfired again and blown of the PCV line again. About to go go re attach line, Anyone have an idea why the car is backfiring? And how to stop it?

My car did a similar thing this afternoon. It backfired on start up and stalled but there was also smoke comming from under the bonnet. When I checked nothing was on fire. Car took a fair bit longer cranking then normal to start after and then idled a bit higher than normal. Car drove home fine. Its a stock BA auto. Any ideas on the cause or where the smoke came from?
