  1. Yea, have been doing that but what I am really after does anyone how what would be the problem why the door will unlock but not lock with the remote and the console button but with the key will do both. Have tried both keys and both are doing the same. I actually meant in my first post that when the alarm is going off by pressing the unlock button is stops the alarm. Cheers Barryn
  2. I have a 2009 FG F6 sedan and when you try to use the remote to lock the car it won't lock and then the alarm goes off. I then use the remote unlock button and the alarm goes of. Try it again and again and the same thing happens. Checked but all the doors, boot and bonnet are closed. Wondering if any of you guys can help me out. Cheers Barryn
  3. Can anyone explain the reasoning behind the left mirror with the sensor being fully replaced and why does this have something to do with the air con as I though it was just a gimick on the screen for showing the outside temp.

    Coolant

Not wrong, ford service centres- 30000klm service told a small leak was found and an oring would need replacing. Said to the service manager that's odd I had found no marks on the painted garage floor. Got the car back on a friday, went out that night and when backing out the next morning found coolant the size of a dinner plate on the floor. Went up and left the car and picked it up at midday as they were closing. Service manager told me it was a different problem saying something about a split hose or housing to the turbo-WHAT EVER I said to myself. Had no problems from 5 weeks ago.
  5. 21 month/30000klm service also included a new diff fitted under warranty. Told the service manager the handbrake needed adjustment and he did say something above it would need it because of the new diff being fitted. I don't if this is correct or not but I received a $37-50 charge itemised on the account above the 30000km service charge. Looking through the service manual schedule on page 48 under the heading 'Functional Checks' it does say about the handbrake. Just wondering if the check is free but the actual adjustment is a charge. Would appreciate any feedback on this situation.
