Hey Guys, Was told there is a straight bolt on turbo upgrade for the 6T. Seeing as my current one is dead and probably needs thrown in the toilet I'm looking for something a little stronger and as Ford charged me $5500 for a new stock one I had to start looking around.
See that looks nice as ^ Any bigger the 20" is becoming overkill and like said before you will loose handling and gain as slide. Go some nice 20x9 and 20x10's on rear, with nice deep dish (Preferably black with Chrome Lips) then lower it to suit
Didnt die at sametime, the diff noise as been around for a long time just started getting a bit more obvious of late... The turbo got to hot when towing a boat and must not of let cool down for long enough. Also I was told there was a straight bolt on turbo that can replace the GT3540 that is stronger, what model is it?
Had no intention of paying Ford's prices I can buy a top of line turbo for that price. Im checking prices and such atm, only problem being in Darwin makes hard to source. Also, does a XR8, Pursuit, Tornado diff ute diff fit into a XR6T BF MKII ute??
Hey Guys, Just got call from Ford informing me not fixing my car because aftermarket exhaust and they found a instance of a use of a flash tune. So no warranty on dead turbo and the diffs carrier and sh*t all forked. They charging $5500 for Turbo and $2800 for Diff. Whats my best options here guys? Any help is DEFIANTLY welcome!

Hello fellow T owners, Basically whats happening, hoped in car this morning and when building up to speed my car had a real high pitched noise. When looking at boost guage no boost was building and felt slower then a N/A car by far. I check the two top turbo hose's and they appear fine. If I run on Cruise Control and such it's fine no noise and when building up speed. Any ideas?
When I was buying my car it was a BF MKII or nothing. Has a lot of things better then the BA including better gearbox choices and ofcourse stronger internals, interior options, colours and better frontbar
Hi Guys, Well I'm spending some dosh on my Turbo and was wondering a few things. I have a BF MKII XR6T Utility. She already has a BluePower Racing CAI and a Exhaust that just needs a 3" Cat to be finished. But I'm thinking of buying the following to finish her up for a year or so until I get bored with the power. I already have 60lb Siemens Injectors at home and my CAPA Tuner. But going to buy a Bosch 044 Fuel Pump, Larger Frount Mount I/C and of course full custom tunes. So A what kind of power to the bitumen should I be getting. And having the F6 Valve's and Bottom End should I be fine not having to update anymore internals? Thanks.
But I mean going from a BF to a FG, if I put all the same mods on a FG as a BF and tune what would be putting more at the treads? Im guessing the FG, But want to know if anyone go evidence of this But they do look sexy inside

Hi Guys, Well in June my care will be out of warranty and will be closing the 100,000km mark. Just wondering if it would be a good idea to go to the FG? I mean like what else besides new pipe work and a different turbo has it got. Is the BF MkII a better building block? And does BF mods like Front Mount I/C, Injectors etc all fit on the FG if coming from a BF. Thanks.
