Hey was just wondering is there any tests to check the actuator...

So in this case it was the actuator being the issue? Is there any test you can do to determine the actuator?

Taking my car to an exhaust shop today to get them to check the cat, I hope its just cat collapsed if so ill get a new one fitted there.

Its a BF MkII and never has had the rev limiter taken of so I doubt the Valves.. Actuator sounds more down the line to me, anyway of testing though? Cat, anyway of checking without removing the cat? We removed the hose to the wastegate so by rights it should just go of its tits... Turbo was just put on so hopefully not that...

Hello fellow T Fans, Took my car in for its tune today after putting pump in finally all the mods are in... After putting my turbo back in my car it would build to 5psi and that's all with an 8psi tune, if I held in a higher gear it would build to 8psi.. Today after getting tune done it was made to push 12psi, and after reading the chart I was shocked.. 228.6kw up from 190kw... I didn't realize it was running so low before as I still beating people etc. Anyways if I give it to it goes to 10psi then falls back to 6psi if I hold in high gear it goes to 12psi once again. Mechanic took the wastegate pipe of and it still only goes to 10psi etc, if I leave in manual mode it goes to 10psi then drops to 6psi through the rest of the gears... Now here is mods, Siemens 60lb Injectors, Walbro GSS342 Fuel Pump, Bluepower CAI, HDi Intercooler, Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs and an exhaust... Any help please...

Wow this is just stupid... A car that has a little lowering will ride better then a stock car if set up right... Better COG... As for 4x4s I owned one with 4" lift and 35"s and she handled like a dream compared to stock...

For me it would have to be my Achilles heel.. the mental pain was worse knowing id miss the Grant Final the next week... fun.. Havent played since, now about 50kg heavier.

Bottom line, Expensive Daewoo keys VR/VS/VU/VT etc... Just look at the manufacturing of the keys... Have you ever seen one that still has its unlock and lock buttons? If so grab the key and place in Safe for prehistorical purposes.

Up here its becomming alot more harsh, alot of media sources are informing people that revenue is down so it tends to be alot of police involvement in charity events, public holiday events and the time of the month before the stats come in.

The only whinge I have is unmarked cars sitting at Charity Events waiting for someone to break the law. Then booking booking me because I left dirt marks on the road when leaving saying I did a skid... It will be concluded in court because I have pictures but yeh that was Australia Day wasnt fun getting abused told im not even driving a v8 trying to do skids that im an idiot and getting abused for a minute about it.

Yeh the idiots strip a classic car.. More money in new cars as there cant be to many owners around with the same colour these days...

Has anyone considered low quality sh*tlux fuel? I know you guys a tit fed the best fuel but us educated Northern types get it from time to time... Oh BTW my IQ has dropped from 130 to 60 after reading this thread, Primary School education at its best.
