Ok so I ended up buying the panel house bonnet and it fits up fine. The beater and myself were happy with the fit quality. Ill post pics up directly. One thing to consider is u will need a new bonnet insulator as the six cyl one does not fit the bulge!!

Hi guys, I want to put the V8 bonnet on my XR. There is a company in slacks creek called Panelhouse selling them for $425. Has anyone dealt with them before? I'm wandering what the quality will be like? Has anyone used the Bogan special or All Crash parts Bonnets?

Hi guys, Picked up my FG XR6T from Hi Torque this afternoon. Made 303rwkw on their dyno at 14psi. Thanks to the team at Hi Torque and Bomber as well for his advice! Mods include: Process West Cooler & Piping SS Inductions Growler F6 Injectors Venom Cat Engine Tune ZF Tune

Perhaps it has something to do with the smaller FG turbo bringing on stronger boost earlier?? At a guess lol...What I was originally getting at is would a BF gearbox go into an FG?

Hi guys, I have read that the FG ZF's had heat treated input shafts. Was there any other differences between BF and FG?

Can anyone recommend a shop in Brisbane or Gold Coast area that does ZF rebuilds? I was just about to jump on the mods wagon and mine has started making weird noises over half throttle so I figured id get it looked at and possibly beefed up. The thing still drives fine under all conditions but Im not one to wait till it blows to fix it. Cheers guys.

Mine does it too. Had a new pump put in and nothing changed. Has anyone come up with a solution for this? Perhaps some dynamat in the rear or something???

Hi guys, I am looking at a set of 60lb Dekas for my FG XR6T but I am concerned about the impact this may have on my fuel economy. Anyone put these (or any uprated injectors) in and had issues with fuel consumption? Thanks guys
