  1. Hope you went around with your new G6ET and let him know to not be such a dick next time.
  2. I was actively looking for modified but ended up buying an unmodified one. Just means tipping in more cash but suppose you get the benefit of it been exactly what you want.
  3. That's the same, official forms and all that - but most mechanics can do them. Obviously need to be licensed though.
  4. Nah most licensed mechanics can do a roady - unless it's changed over the past couple of years.
  5. Wonder if this is where you go to a local small outfit mechanic rather then Ford and hope they don't notice anything other then the bigger wheels. I mean, not all shops will know what is stock or not. Although a stage 3 cooler may cause issues with cutting I imagine.
  6. 1) VC SL/E 202 2) VH SL/E 308 3) HDT VN Aero build #42 4) Mistsuibshi Colt (daily banger) 5) VH SL/X 253 on gas (daily banger, no idea why I replaced the Colt with this...) 6) VL Calais (injected VT Clubsport motor, T700, diff gears etc) 7) Subaru Liberty B4 8.) Fiesta XR4 9) BF XR6 Turbo
  7. Cheers all, looks like stock is the way to go (or get the seller to include a RWC!)
  8. Hi All, I'm currently looking at buying a BF XR6T as my next car. I'm leaning towards getting a car that's already had the usual mods done to do it, as I figure as long as it's been looked after properly I should be able to save some $$$ over doing the mods myself. I've expanded my search to include the surrounding states since you never know where the right car may be. One of the downsides of buying interstate is you definitely have to organise your own RWC. So, my main question is, how hard is it to get a road worthy on a modified XR6T? Do normal bolt on mods (e.g. coolers/injectors/CAI etc) normally cause problems with been issued a RWC? Also, if you know of any good BF XR6T's for sale, please shout out! Looking for something with a build date post July 06 (preferably), favour sedans but the right ute would tempt me. Carsales is looking a bit bare at the moment. Cheers
  9. I know what factory means (hence the "") but don't think Ford did factory installs in the Bx range. Could be wrong though.
  10. Think you'll find Prestige Sunroofs do a lot of "factory" installations for dealers in VIC. Had one in my BF (dealer option by original owner), no issues with leaks etc. http://www.prestigesunroofs.com.au/
