  7. Hey I am new to this aswell, the dyno runs I have done were (05 XR6T 6spM) at stock, 165 Kw at stock with 8psi generic tune 205 Kw with X-force exhuast(4' dump to 3.5' catback) and Monza Cooler and 10psi tune and wastegate and actuator upgrade 255 Kw For an apprentice with low funds 255 Kw is fun as I searched for months for the right car, after driving a few I soon realised I NEEDED a manual, maybe not a quick down the strip but twice the fun for example my 255 Kw tune only ran a 14.3 down the strip and a standard T Auto with generic 8psi ran a 14.4
  8. Hey bud, I had the exact same problem as you and after a lot of reasearch I decided to do the actuator and waste gate mod (I would highly reccomend XR6Turbo Developments they did a top job) I have done this mod and am still running a generic tune, I have done the data logging the same as you aswell. I know everyone knocks generic tunes, but my car is making good/reliable power, with just an exhaust, cooler and generic tune 10psi (awaiting $$$ for custom). but yeah do some research, I ended up finding 2 people in my area that wanted to do the same mod, saved $$$ on postage and what not. Hope I could be of some assistance Another question, senna_T have you done much with the data logging program or know of anyone that has? I am just wanting to find out what increments the readings are in?
  9. Not sure where you are from, but 999 Automotive in Brisbane was super helpful with rice bits like BOV's/adaptors. genuine stuff and cheap as hell http://www.999automotive.com.au/work2005.htm
  10. Does it sit like 50mm below your radiator? mine does I am heaps worried, it is like just touching the bottom of me front bumber/plastic gaurd underneath. I havent hit a gutter/speed bump yet but I dread the day I do, CARNAGE lol
  11. not sure if you are still lokking but I stuffed around with mine for a bit and bent the air con pipe towards the radiator and then centered it as much as I can and it ended up like this just had to lengthen the top pipe 2 inch's and make my own brackets, that's it.
  12. Yeah well truth be told, I have lost my licence and cant drive for another 2 weeks yet, but I will try and upload a sound/video clip asap. lucky I have the 'Capa flash 2' I just made the rev limiter 3500rpm and I will let anyone drive me around in my turbs lol ha ha ha unlucky for them
  13. LOL yeah I bent up my horn like most of you, sounded like ass, I just put it down to a dodgy earth, relocated it, under the left headlight, I just found an existing bolt/hole, and slapped it on, making sure to scape off the paint around the hole to get a solid earth. easy as to do.
  14. Yeah its all about being different, I also changed my intercooler mounts so I would mount a monza m-spec cooler, in the centre, because I hate the way they all sit to the left. it annoys me lol took a couple of hours but I am glad I did
  15. Its a Monza M-spec cooler, bit cheap but hey it still does a good job, all I had to do is bend an aircon pipe towards the radiator a little bit, and get lengthen the top pipe 2 inch's. it miss's everything by bout 5 mm (all sides and corners) Was bit of a stuff around but I am glad I put in the effort, also at the same time put a BOV on the allow elbow. HKS super sequential super sneaky
