Yea it is hard to fathom from the point of view that the F6 is definitely the sharper tool,but having driven V8's all my life apart from one XR6T-I'd say it has a lot to do with prestige,image,tradition,the sound and feel. If you own a GT you're driving a (perceived) legend.......and that's what GT buyers want. Different strokes for different folks.The GT could be quicker and more agile in standard form but that can be addressed to some extent,by the owner.
