are you 100% sure it's not you diff bush? coz that's what it sounds like to me. or broken diff bolt. -
I thought aftermarket trans coolers weren't compatible with the zf because of some electronic bulls***? has something changed and I've missed out?

g'day all. just wondering what the maximum width tire will fit on a 19" dark argent wheel? will 285's fit on the rim and will they fit in the rear guard? cheers in advance.

hey everyone. I currently bought a set of ba xr leather seats to fit to my xr (as I currently have cloth). my current seats have air bags in them but the new leather ones don't. im guessing that when I put the leather seats in, the air bag light will come on. is there anyway to switch it off once it comes on? is there any danger in driving with it on? cheers in advance.

I just bought a GT40. cant tell ya how good it is because my car is still getting built, but I have driven an XR6t with a GT40 on it and all I could say was WOW!!! the boost came on a little later than standard (around 2900-3000rpm) and just pulled all the way through the rev range. that's why I went for the 40 and not the 42r (not practical for the street as boost comes on around 3600rpm).

hiro f6 I can't find any zf parts on your website. can you post a link or something please? F6_Tornado - what do we replace the B and E clutches with? factory ones and add some more clutch packs or is there a better/stronger quality set?

well the box has never missed a beat, doesn't slip and changes gears perfectly. I just want to beef it up before I eff it up. they told me they add a few clutch packs and change the input shaft to an FG one. the steel pan and oil I will be supplying. where can I buy clutch packs and the input shaft from?

thank you so much for your help F6_Tornado. I got a quote around the $2500 mark and that's if I take out the trany, let them fit clutch packs, and for me to put the box back in. does that sound a little pricey?

g'day all, just wondering what people are doing to their zf transmissions to hold up some big power? I have heard a few things such as replacing the input shaft with a fg one (apparently they're stronger) and adding clutch packs to some gears (is it all gears or just some?). can anyone shed some light on what I can/need to do, what parts I'll need and roughly how much the parts will cost. thanks heaps!
