Hi guys been a while since I have posted. Have had my Typhoon for 2 years and had it tuned by morpowa in adelaide the second day I owned it. It was flash tuned with new injectors and a cat modification. Just recently I have decided I wouldnt mine a few new upgrades. the car is now at 85,000km and I was thinking maybe a bigger intercooler and exhaust system? I am not just after big power improvements as I am fairly happy with the 306rwkw already but just a few new bits to improve the car all round. Any ideas or suggestions would be great?? also has anyone in adelaide had a front rotor replacement done? If so where, as I am trying to chase up a place that can actually understand what I am after as most say they cant do it.

Hi guys been a while since a post. Have been happily peddling my 2007 BF typhoon around for 2 yrs now and kays are up at the 80ish mark, have been running 306rwkw tuned by morpowa SA safely and reliably the whole time with no complainants. Although recently have started to hear a diff whine L However my eyes have been on the new FG MK2 F6's since they were released, I have currently got my dealer ( jarvis ) trying to chase one up for a drive. I thought I would how ever ask the question as I am sure many of you guys have made the jump already.... I am interested to hear your opinions on the two models, I think the FG interior is a class above. But is the everyday driving experience really worth the extra $$$ I am sure I will find out first hand in good time, but would love to hear some opinions’ as well. Thanks Matt

Hi guys long time since ive posted on here, website looks fantastic as usual! A week ago my learner driver brother was reversing my dads hilux ute down the driveway and somehow got his angles/vision/ who knows what the f*ck up! and managed to hit my car sitting down the driveway, luckily it didn’t hit square on and avoided all the cooler and piping. I have attached a few photos of the damage, the catch to all this is a neighbour who we don’t have a great relationship with witnessed all of it and as my brother was driving alone we are unsure about using insurance just incase this guy decides to be a whistle blower. That leaves me with not to many other options, does anyone know if these things are easy to find second hand? or if many wreckers would have them I have been told by 2 separate panel beaters its pretty much unrepairable due to there being about a tennis ball size hole being punched into the bar. any ideas would be a great help guys thanks! 2nd question I have is has anyone on here replaced the standard light bulbs from ford as I have been moved around at my workplace and country driving will be a regular thing. I have heard about the xenon bulbs that give of a more of a whiter light are quite a good replacement and doesn’t require any wiring changes? any ideas with this would also be very helpful as I really haven’t heard much about this topic before.

After a little accident last night ( ran up the arse of someone at the lights ) iam know after a new front bumper there isnt much damage to be honest, the cars tow ball impacted on the left side of the panel and has basically pushed a tennis ball size hole through thankfully the light and nothing else behind the quard was damaged. Does anyone have an idea of a ruff cost for a new one? and where to get a genuine replacement, iam in adelaide and the car is bionic blue. Thanks guys

Hey guys had my phoon for about 2 months now, previous owner of a BA xr6 turbo. I had my car Worked on by morpowa about 1 month ago. The work they completed was, Custom Tune New Injectors And also done a cat modification, all for $ 2,400 The result was 305rwkw, quite happy I must say. Iam now looking at jumping to the 400rwkw mark, the question is though what modifications would be needed to achive this, and can a 400rwkw typhoon still be everday reliable? Iam going to see them tommorow but thought any advice on here cant be bad. Thanks guys. Matt

Cheers for the comments guys, and yea that mazda sourround will be coming of soon. What type of upgraded intercoolers do most guys run in there phoons as I think this and a xforce system are my next mods. My ultimate goal is 350ish at the rear wheels hopefully that shouldnt mean to many more mods as iam not far away at 305. Cheers

Hey guys, Picked my New car up on friday from morpowa in adelaide. Its a bf2 Typhoon in bionic blue with dark argents, leather and the bigger brembos, with 33 thous kays on it. And all I can say is wow, what a diffrence from by BA turbo. The work I had done at morpowa is a custom tune, new injectors and a cat modifcation. The car was dyno tested and came back with 305rwkw, and ive been told that's great power for those mods. Iam already planning my next mods, I was thinkin a bigger intercooler and maybe a xforce system. What mods do you guys think would be best at the stage my car is at. Hey guys, Ive narrowed down my new car to two options (currently own a BA XR6 turbo that's up for sale in anyones interested). Basically ive decided to either get, A. A low kay BF2 typhoon and spend a little of the saved cash on some mods, flash tune injectors etc, and look to get it at around the 300rwkw mark. B. Buy a demo FG F6 and basically keep it stock. I really cant decide, I dont mind the look of either model and I personally like the interior of the BF better. But what do yous guys think would be better, and please no comments saying Moddin the FG becuase id love to but realisticly its outa the question. Also surely a 300rwkw BF would beat a F6 but I have heard those things are weapons. Thanks guys
